Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A pressure sensitive sensor is composed of a cylindrical shape body including therein an inner peripheral surface and a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction of that cylindrical shape body, and being made of an elastic electrical insulating member, and a plurality of electrode wires arranged in a helical shape along the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body, and arranged in such a manner as to have no contact with each other. In the pressure sensitive sensor, in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical shape body, at least some part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body lying between adjacent ones of the plurality of the electrode wires on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body is formed in an inner side in radial directions of a circle passing through centers of the plurality of the electrode wires.

What is claimed is: 1. A pressure sensitive sensor, comprising: a cylindrical shape body including therein an inner peripheral surface and a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction of that cylindrical shape body, and comprising an elastic electrical insulating member; and a plurality of electrode wires arranged in a helical shape along the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body, and arranged in such a manner as to have no contact with each other, wherein, in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical shape body, at least some part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body, lying between adjacent ones of the plurality of the electrode wires on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body, is being formed in an inner side in radial directions of a circle passing through centers of the plurality of the electrode wires. 2. The pressure sensitive sensor according to claim 1 , wherein the hollow portion of the cylindrical shape body is being formed in an elliptical shape in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof, and is being provided with two of the electrode wires, which are being arranged in such a manner as to be located opposite each other in a major axis direction of the elliptical shape of the cross section of the hollow portion of the cylindrical shape body. 3. The pressure sensitive sensor according to claim 1 , wherein n (n=3 or more) of the electrode wires are included, while the hollow portion of the cylindrical shape body is being formed in an n-sided regular polygonal shape in its cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical shape body, and the n electrode wires are being arranged at vertices, respectively, of the n-sided regular polygonal shape hollow portion. 4. The pressure sensitive sensor according to claim 3 , wherein the hollow portion of the cylindrical shape body is being formed in a square shape in its cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof, and is being provided with four of the electrode wires, which are being arranged at four of the vertices, respectively, of the square shape of the cross section of the hollow portion. 5. The pressure sensitive sensor according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of ribs are being provided on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body in such a manner as to project outward in radial directions of the cylindrical shape body, and the plurality of ribs are being provided at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical shape body, while being provided in a helical shape along the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape body.
