What is claimed is: 1. A radio frequency filter apparatus, comprising: an elongate hollow body portion having an elongate axis, an inner side, and an outer side, an iris structure on the inner side of the body portion, and a stiffening structure on the outer side of the body portion aligned with the iris structure, wherein the stiffening structure includes a lattice formed by diagonal ribs and horizontal ribs perpendicular to the elongate axis. 2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the body portion, iris structure and stiffening structure are additively manufactured as a single unit. 3. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the body portion has a rectangular cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the elongate axis. 4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the horizontal ribs is aligned with the iris structure on the inner side of the body portion. 5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the body portion has four corner portions, each horizontal rib extending between two adjacent corner portions and each diagonal rib extending between two adjacent corner portions. 6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein each horizontal rib tapers to a maximum height in a middle section. 7. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein each diagonal rib tapers to a maximum height in a middle section. 8. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein each diagonal rib crosses one other diagonal rib between adjacent corner portions. 9. The apparatus of claim 1 , further including a calibration structure on the inner side of the body portion, the calibration structure including a boss. 10. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the lattice of the stiffening structure includes a repeating pattern of horizontal and diagonal ribs. 11. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the body portion has planar walls, and the stiffening structure includes horizontal ribs on each planar wall. 12. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the lattice of the stiffening structure includes a repeating pattern of the horizontal and diagonal ribs. 13. A radio frequency filter apparatus, comprising: an elongate hollow body portion having planar walls, an inner side, an outer side, and a long axis parallel to the planar walls, an iris structure on the inner side of the body portion, and a stiffening structure on the outer side of the body portion, including a horizontal rib aligned with the iris structure and perpendicular to the long axis of the elongate hollow body portion. 14. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the body portion, iris structure and stiffening structure are additively manufactured as a single unit. 15. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the stiffening structure includes horizontal ribs on each planar wall of the elongate hollow body portion, each horizontal rib aligned in the same plane, perpendicular to the long axis of the elongate hollow body portion. 16. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the body portion has a rectangular cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the long axis. 17. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the body portion has four corner portions, each horizontal rib extending between two adjacent corner portions and each diagonal rib extending between two adjacent corner portions. 18. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 17 , wherein each horizontal rib tapers to a maximum height in a middle section. 19. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 17 , wherein each diagonal rib crosses one other diagonal rib between adjacent corner portions. 20. The radio frequency filter apparatus of claim 13 , further including a calibration structure on the inner side of the body portion, the calibration structure including a boss.
