Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Provided are a wavelength conversion layer and a display device. A color conversion element comprises: a wavelength conversion layer; one or more low refractive layers which are disposed on and/or under the wavelength conversion layer and have a lower refractive index than the wavelength conversion layer; and one or more capping layers which are disposed between the wavelength conversion layer and the low refractive layers and/or on a surface opposite to a surface of each of the low refractive layers which faces the wavelength conversion layer.

What is claimed is: 1. A color conversion element comprising: a base layer; a first wavelength conversion pattern disposed on the base layer; a low refractive layer disposed between the base layer and the first wavelength conversion pattern; and a first inorganic layer disposed on the first wavelength conversion pattern, wherein the first inorganic layer comprises one or more selected from silicon oxide, silicon nitride and silicon oxynitride. 2. The color conversion element of claim 1 , further comprising: a second wavelength conversion pattern disposed on the base layer, wherein the low refractive layer is disposed between the base layer and the second wavelength conversion pattern, wherein the first wavelength conversion pattern includes a first quantum dot, wherein the second wavelength conversion pattern includes a second quantum dot, and wherein a size of the first quantum dot is different from a size of the second quantum dot. 3. The color conversion element of claim 1 , wherein a refractive index of the low refractive layer is lower than a refractive index of the first wavelength conversion pattern, and wherein the refractive index of the low refractive layer is 1.3 or less. 4. The color conversion element of claim 1 , wherein the low refractive layer comprises inorganic particles, each of the inorganic particles having a hole. 5. The color conversion element of claim 4 , wherein the low refractive layer further comprises a resin, and the inorganic particles are dispersed in the resin. 6. The color conversion element of claim 5 , wherein a weight ratio of the inorganic particles and the resin contained in the low refractive layer is 1.5:1 to 4:1. 7. The color conversion element of claim 4 , wherein the inorganic particles comprise one or more selected from silica (SiO2), magnesium fluoride (MgF2), and iron oxide (Fe3O4). 8. The color conversion element of claim 1 , further comprising: a color filter disposed between the base layer and the low refractive layer; and a second inorganic layer disposed between the low refractive layer and the first wavelength conversion pattern. 9. The color conversion element of claim 8 , wherein the second inorganic layer comprises one or more selected from silicon oxide, silicon nitride and silicon oxynitride. 10. The color conversion element of claim 1 , further comprising an organic layer which is disposed on the first wavelength conversion pattern, wherein the first inorganic layer is disposed between the first wavelength conversion pattern and the organic layer. 11. The color conversion element of claim 10 , wherein the organic layer comprises one or more selected from cardo-based material, polyimide material, acrylic-based material, siloxane material and silsesquioxane material. 12. The color conversion element of claim 1 , further comprising a light transmitting pattern disposed on the base layer, wherein the low refractive layer is disposed between the base layer and the light transmitting pattern, and wherein the light transmitting pattern does not overlap the first wavelength conversion pattern. 13. The color conversion element of claim 12 , wherein the light transmitting pattern comprises a scatterer, and wherein the scatterer comprises one or more selected from SiO2, TiO2, ZrO2, Al2O3, In2O3, ZnO, SnO2, and Sb2O3. 14. The color conversion element of claim 1 , further comprising a light shielding member disposed between the low refractive layer and the base layer, wherein the light shielding member includes a blue colorant. 15. A display device comprising: a display element; and a color conversion element disposed on the display element, wherein the color conversion element comprises: a wavelength conversion pattern disposed on the display element; a low refractive layer disposed on the wavelength conversion pattern; and an inorganic layer disposed between the low refractive layer and the wavelength conversion pattern, wherein the inorganic layer comprises one or more selected from silicon oxide, silicon nitride and silicon oxynitride. 16. The display device of claim 15 , wherein the low refractive layer has a lower refractive index than the wavelength conversion pattern, and wherein the refractive index of the low refractive layer is 1.3 or less. 17. The display device of claim 15 , further comprising: a light transmitting pattern disposed between the display element and the low refractive layer, wherein the inorganic layer is disposed between the low refractive layer and the light transmitting pattern, and wherein the light transmitting pattern does not overlap the wavelength conversion pattern. 18. The display device of claim 15 , further comprising a second inorganic layer disposed between the wavelength conversion pattern and the display element. 19. The display device of claim 15 , further comprising a color filter disposed on the low refractive layer, the color filter overlapping the wavelength conversion pattern. 20. The display device of claim 15 , wherein the display element includes at least two blue light emitting layers, and wherein the at least two blue light emitting layers overlap the wavelength conversion pattern.
