Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A crystallized glass that: has a visible light transmittance of at least 85% when the thickness thereof is converted to 0.8 mm; has a haze value of no more than 1.0% when the thickness thereof is converted to 0.8 mm; contains, in terms of mass % on an oxide basis, 58%-70% SiO2, 15%-30% Al2O3, 2%-10% Li2O, 0%-5% Na2O, 0%-2% K2O, 0%-1.8% SrO, 0%-2% BaO, 0.5%-6% SnO2, 0.5%-6% ZrO2, and 0%-6% P2O5; has a total SrO and BaO content of 0.1%-3%; and has a total Na2O and K2O content of 1%-5%.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A crystallized glass, comprising, as expressed by mass % on an oxide basis: 58 to 70% of SiO 2 ; 15 to 30% of Al 2 O 3 ; 2 to 10% of Li 2 O; 0 to 5% of Na 2 O, 0 to 2% of K 2 O; 0.5% to 1.8% of SrO; 0 to 1.5% of BaO; 0.5 to 6% of SnO 2 ; 0.5 to 6% of ZrO 2 ; and 0 to 6% of P 2 O 5 , wherein a total content of SrO and BaO is 0.5 to 2.0%, and a total content of Na 2 O and K 2 O is 1 to 5%, and wherein the crystallized glass comprises β-spodumene crystals, wherein an average particle size of the β-spodumene crystals is 300 nm or less, a visible light transmittance of the crystallized glass having a thickness of 0.8 mm is 85% or higher, and a haze value of the crystallized glass having a thickness of 0.8 mm is 1% or lower. 2. The crystallized glass according to claim 1 , wherein the haze value of the crystallized glass having a thickness of 0.8 mm is 0.6% or lower.
