A retrieval support system includes a database which stores commodity image data; a retrieval unit which acquires commodity image data having image characteristic information which is the same as or similar to image characteristic information indicating a characteristic in an image of input image data, from the database, with respect to the input image data; and a condition setting unit which sets a retrieval condition including at least one of time information relating to time, place information relating to places and occasion information relating to occasions. The retrieval unit performs retrieval of the commodity image data based on the retrieval condition set by the condition setting unit. The commodity image data acquired by the retrieval unit and information relating to a commodity different from a commodity corresponding to the commodity image data are output together.

What is claimed is: 1. A retrieval support system comprising: a database; and one or more processors programmed to: extract a retrieved part of input image data which is input, set a retrieval condition based on usage information extracted from a background image of a figure from the input image data, the usage information including at least one of time information relating to time, place information relating to places, and occasion information relating to occasions determined from character data that is in the background image, compare (i) image characteristic information indicating a characteristic in an image of the retrieved part of the input image data with (ii) image characteristic information indicating a characteristic in an image of object image data in the database, acquire, from the database, matching object image data which matches or is more similar than not to the image data in the retrieved part, retrieve the matching object image data based on the set retrieval condition, extract, from the database, combination object image data for an object that (i) is different in type from a matching object corresponding to the matching object image data, (ii) corresponds to user preference information, and (iii) is able to be combined with the matching object, and extract, from the database, challenge object image data for an object that (i) is different in type from the matching object, (ii) has been designated as discordant, and (iii) is able to be combined with the matching object, wherein: the retrieval support system outputs the combination object image data and the challenge object image data, and the extraction of the combination object image data is based on at least one of (i) gender of the user, (ii) age of the user, and (iii) fashion tendency of the user, which defines a style of dress preferred by the user. 2. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further programmed to: determine a type of an object corresponding to the retrieved part, and retrieve the matching object image data based on the type that is determined. 3. The retrieval support system according to claim 2 , wherein the one or more processors are further programmed to: display a plurality of pieces of object image data for objects which (i) have a same type as the type of the object that is determined and (ii) are different from the object corresponding to the retrieved part, and store, in the database and as the preference information, evaluation results selected by the user with respect to the objects corresponding to the displayed plurality of pieces of object image data. 4. The retrieval support system according to claim 3 , wherein the preference information includes at least one of shape, color, pattern and texture. 5. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the retrieval support system outputs, from the database, object information corresponding to the matching object image data that is retrieved. 6. The retrieval support system according to claim 5 , wherein the object information includes at least one of a name, a shop and a price of the matching object. 7. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the matching object image data that is retrieved and object image data on an object different from the matching object are output together. 8. The retrieval support system according to claim 7 , wherein a type of the object different from the matching object is the same as the type of the matching object. 9. The retrieval support system according to claim 7 , wherein a type of the object different from the matching object is different from the type of the matching object. 10. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further programmed to: determine a type of an object corresponding to the retrieved part, display a plurality of pieces of object image data for objects which (i) have a same type as the type of the object that is determined and (ii) are different from the object corresponding to the retrieved part, and store, in the database and as the preference information, evaluation results selected by the user with respect to the objects corresponding to the displayed plurality of pieces of object image data, wherein the extraction of the combination object image data is based on the preference information stored in the database. 11. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further programmed to: generate synthetic image data from an image of the matching object image data that is retrieved and the extracted combination object image data, and wherein the retrieval support system outputs the synthetic image data that is generated. 12. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further programmed to: extract, from the database, other object image data for an object different in type from the matching object and which is more likely than not to be purchased in combination with the matching object, wherein the retrieval support system outputs the other object image data that is extracted. 13. The retrieval support system according to claim 1 , further comprising: a user terminal which is a terminal of the user; and a server, wherein the user terminal includes a first processor of the one or more processors, the first processor performing the extraction of the retrieved part of input image data which is input, wherein the server includes the database and a second processor of the one or more processors, the second processor performing the comparing of the image characteristic information, the acquiring of the matching object image data, and the retrieval of the matching object image data, and wherein the user terminal includes a transceiver which transmits, to the server, the image data in the retrieved part that is extracted. 14. The retrieval support system according to claim 2 , further comprising: a user terminal which is a terminal of the user; and a server, wherein the user terminal includes a first processor of the one or more processors, the first processor performing the extraction of the retrieved part of input image data which is input, wherein the server includes the database and a second processor of the one or more processors, the second processor performing the comparing of the image characteristic information, the acquiring of the matching object image data, the determination of the type of the object, and the retrieval of the matching object image data, and wherein the user terminal includes a transceiver which transmits, to the server, the image data in the retrieved part that is extracted. 15. The retrieval support system according to claim 3 , further comprising: a user terminal which is a terminal of the user; and a server, wherein the user terminal includes a first processor of the one or more processors, the first processor performing the extraction of the retrieved part of input image data which is input, wherein the server includes the database and a second processor of the one or more processors, the second processor performing the comparing of the image characteristic information, the acquiring of the matching object image data, the retrieval of the matching object image data, the display of the plurality of pieces of object image data, and the storing of the evaluation results, wherein the user terminal includes a transceiver which transmits, to the server, the image data in the retrieved part that is extrac
