Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A device receives network information from an analyzer device associated with a host device, a target device, and a link of a network, and compares the network information and historical equalizer calibration information to identify a set of equalizer calibration information. The historical equalizer calibration information is associated with multiple host devices, multiple target devices, and multiple links. The device ranks the set of equalizer calibration information, based on quality information associated with the historical equalizer calibration information, to generate a ranked set of equalizer calibration information. The device provides the ranked set of equalizer calibration information to the analyzer device to permit the analyzer device to identify selected equalizer calibration information of the ranked set of equalizer calibration information, and utilize the selected equalizer calibration information.

What is claimed is: 1. A device, comprising: one or more processors to: receive network information from an analyzer device associated with a host device, a target device, and a link of a network; compare the network information and historical equalizer calibration information to identify a set of equalizer calibration information, the historical equalizer calibration information being associated with a plurality of host devices, a plurality of target devices, and a plurality of links; rank the set of equalizer calibration information, based on quality information associated with the historical equalizer calibration information, to generate a ranked set of equalizer calibration information; and provide the ranked set of equalizer calibration information to the analyzer device to permit the analyzer device to identify selected equalizer calibration information of the ranked set of equalizer calibration information, and utilize the selected equalizer calibration information. 2. The device of claim 1 , where the one or more processors are further to: receive the historical equalizer calibration information from a plurality of analyzer devices associated with the plurality of host devices, the plurality of target devices, and the plurality of links, the plurality of analyzer devices not including the analyzer device; and store the historical equalizer calibration information. 3. The device of claim 1 , where the one or more processors are further to: receive, from the analyzer device, the selected equalizer calibration information of the ranked set of equalizer calibration information; and update the historical equalizer calibration information based on the selected equalizer calibration information. 4. The device of claim 1 , where the one or more processors are further to: provide at least a portion of the historical equalizer calibration information to the analyzer device prior to receiving the network information. 5. The device of claim 1 , where the quality information associated with the historical equalizer calibration information includes: information associating equalizer calibration parameters and quality indicators associated with the plurality of host devices and the plurality of target devices. 6. The device of claim 1 , where the ranked set of equalizer calibration information includes: a ranked set of host device equalizer calibration parameters associated with the plurality of host devices, and a ranked set of target device equalizer calibration parameters associated with the plurality of target devices. 7. The device of claim 1 , where the quality information associated with the historical equalizer calibration information includes: equalizer calibration parameters associated with the plurality of host devices and the plurality of target devices, and information identifying a quantity of times each of the equalizer calibration parameters, associated with the plurality of host devices and the plurality of target devices, is selected by a plurality of analyzer devices associated with the plurality of host devices and the plurality of target devices, the plurality of analyzer devices not including the analyzer device. 8. The device of claim 1 , where: the host device is not included in the plurality of host devices, the target device is not included in the plurality of target devices, and the link is not included in the plurality of links. 9. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising: one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: receive network information from an analyzer device associated with a host device, a target device, and a link of a network; compare the network information and historical equalizer calibration information to identify a set of equalizer calibration information, the historical equalizer calibration information being associated with a plurality of host devices, a plurality of target devices, and a plurality of links; rank the set of equalizer calibration information, based on quality information associated with the historical equalizer calibration information, to generate a ranked set of equalizer calibration information; and provide the ranked set of equalizer calibration information to the analyzer device to permit the analyzer device to identify selected equalizer calibration information of the ranked set of equalizer calibration information, and utilize the selected equalizer calibration information. 10. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to: receive the historical equalizer calibration information from a plurality of analyzer devices associated with the plurality of host devices, the plurality of target devices, and the plurality of links, the plurality of analyzer devices not including the analyzer device; and store the historical equalizer calibration information. 11. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , where the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to: receive, from the analyzer device, the selected equalizer calibration information of the ranked set of equalizer calibration information; and update the historical equalizer calibration information based on the selected equalizer calibration information. 12.
