A method of dispensing fluid includes dispensing a first quantity of fluid so that fluid flows through a manifold port assembly and into a first container, the manifold port assembly includes a housing having an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon; and a carousel bounding a plurality of fluid paths that each extend between a first end and an opposing second end, the carousel being rotatably disposed within the housing so that when the first end of each one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with the inlet port on the housing, the second end of the corresponding one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with one of the plurality of outlet ports. A motor is activated to rotate the carousel of the manifold port assembly to a second position. A second quantity of fluid is dispensed so that fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a second container.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of dispensing fluid, the method comprising: dispensing a first quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through a manifold port assembly and into a first container, the manifold port assembly comprising: a housing having an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon; and a carousel bounding a plurality of fluid paths that each extend between a first end and an opposing second end, the carousel being rotatably disposed within the housing so that when the first end of each one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with the inlet port on the housing, the second end of the corresponding one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with one of the plurality of outlet ports, the carousel being in a first position relative to the housing when the first quantity of fluid is dispensed; activating a motor to rotate the carousel of the manifold port assembly relative to the housing so that the carousel is in a second position; and dispensing a second quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a second container while the carousel is in the second position. 2. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the motor is automatically activated to rotate the carousel to the second position when a predetermined condition is satisfied. 3. The method as recited in claim 2 , wherein the predetermined condition is a volume of the fluid within the first container. 4. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first container is disposed on a weight scale and the motor is automatically activated to rotate the carousel to the second position when a weight of the fluid within the first container reaches a predetermined value. 5. The method as recited in claim 1 , further comprising: activating the motor to rotate the carousel of the manifold port assembly relative to the housing so that the carousel is in a third position; and dispensing a third quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a third container. 6. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein a drive shaft extends between the motor and the carousel. 7. The method as recited in claim 6 , wherein a drive shaft is removably coupled to the carousel. 8. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the carousel comprises an upper body and a lower body that are coupled together and that bound the plurality of fluid paths therebetween. 9. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the fluid is dispensed from a fluid source, the fluid source comprising a bioreactor or fermentor. 10. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the step of dispensing the first quantity of fluid comprises activating a pump that pumps the first quantity of fluid from a fluid source to the manifold port assembly. 11. The method as recited in claim 10 , wherein the pump is activated through an electronic control unit that is in electrical communication with the motor. 12. A method of dispensing fluid, the method comprising: dispensing a first quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through a manifold port assembly and into a first container, the manifold port assembly comprising: a housing having an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon; and a carousel bounding a plurality of fluid paths that each extend between a first end and an opposing second end, the carousel being rotatably disposed within the housing so that when the first end of each one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with the inlet port on the housing, the second end of the corresponding one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with one of the plurality of outlet ports, the carousel being in a first position relative to the housing when the first quantity of fluid is dispensed; rotating the carousel of the manifold port assembly relative to the housing so that the carousel is in a second position; and dispensing a second quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a second container while the carousel is in the second position; wherein the carousel is automatically rotated to the second position when a predetermined condition relative to the fluid within the first container is satisfied. 13. The method as recited in claim 12 , wherein the predetermined condition is a predetermined weight of the fluid within the first container. 14. The method as recited in claim 12 , wherein the predetermined condition is a predetermined volume of the fluid within the first container. 15. The method as recited in claim 12 , wherein the fluid is dispensed from a fluid source, the fluid source comprising a bioreactor or fermentor. 16. The method as recited in claim 12 , wherein the step of rotating the carousel comprises activating a motor that controls rotation of the carousel. 17. The method as recited in claim 16 , wherein the step of dispensing the first quantity of fluid comprises activating a pump that pumps the first quantity of fluid from a fluid source to the manifold port assembly. 18. The method as recited in claim 17 , wherein the pump is activated through an electronic control unit that is in electrical communication with the motor. 19. The method as recited in claim 12 , further comprising: rotating the carousel of the manifold port assembly to a third position; and dispensing a third quantity of fluid so that the fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a third container.
