The invention claimed is: 1. A motor vehicle dashboard crossbeam provided to extend between A posts of the structure of the motor vehicle substantially in a transverse direction of the motor vehicle, the crossbeam comprising: an end section to be fastened to an A post, the end section having a rectangular cross-section; an intermediate section having a circular cross-section; and a fastening opening extending through the end section and being configured for fastening the end section to the A post. 2. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the fastening opening is configured for fastening the end section to the A post along a longitudinal direction. 3. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the fastening opening extends through two opposite sides of the rectangular cross-section. 4. The crossbeam of claim 3 , wherein the fastening opening is offset from center along said two opposite sides toward a third side of the rectangular cross-section. 5. The crossbeam of claim 4 , wherein the third side is a top side of the rectangular cross-section. 6. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the fastening opening is a first fastening opening and the crossbeam further comprises a second fastening opening for fastening the end section to the A post, the first opening and the second opening being spaced apart. 7. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the fastening opening is a first fastening opening and the crossbeam further comprises a fastening member attached on the end section along the rectangular cross-section and a second fastening opening formed through the fastening member for fastening the end section to the A post. 8. The crossbeam of claim 7 , wherein the fastening member is welded to the end section. 9. The crossbeam of claim 7 , wherein the fastening opening extends through two opposite sides of the rectangular cross-section. 10. The crossbeam of claim 1 , further comprising a transitional section connecting the intermediate section to the end section, wherein the transitional section has a cross-section that varies between the end section and the intermediate section. 11. The crossbeam of claim 1 , further comprising a reinforcing member disposed within the end section and extending between two opposite sides of the rectangular cross-section to oppose said two opposite sides from coming closer together. 12. The crossbeam of claim 1 , further comprising a tubular reinforcing member disposed within the end section such that the fastening opening extends through the reinforcing member. 13. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the fastening opening extends through two opposite sides of the rectangular cross-section and is offset from the center along said two opposite sides toward a fourth side of the rectangular cross-section opposite a third side. 14. The crossbeam of claim 1 , further comprising a tubular beam that includes the end section and the intermediate section, wherein the tubular beam is made in a single piece. 15. The crossbeam of claim 1 , wherein the end section is offset relative to the intermediate section.
