A fender for a cycling apparatus is provided. The fender may include a front portion, a rear portion, and an outer surface and an inner surface that each extend from the rear portion to the front portion. The fender may further include a mount portion disposed between the rear portion and the front portion. The mount portion may include a first engagement part configured to engage with at least one blade of a pair of spaced apart blades of a fork assembly, and a second engagement part. A first engagement part may be configured minimize side-to-side motion of the fender relative to a fork assembly and a second engagement part configured to minimize fore-and-aft motion of the fender relative to the fork assembly. A fender elongated body may have a generally convex outer surface and a generally concave inner surface, the inner surface defining a hollow cavity of the body.

What is claimed is: 1. A fender for a cycling apparatus, comprising: a body having a surface defining one or more recesses extending into the body and configured to receive at least one corresponding blade of a fork of the cycling apparatus, wherein the body comprises: a first post positioned proximate (i) to a first side of the body and (ii) to the one or more recesses; and a second post positioned proximate (i) to a second side of the body opposite the first side and (ii) to the one or more recesses; and a third post positioned (i) adjacent to the first and second posts and (ii) at a lateral midpoint of the surface of the body; wherein the one or more recesses, the first post, the second post, and the third post are configured to secure the fender to the cycling apparatus. 2. The fender of claim 1 , wherein the one or more recesses comprises a first recess and a second recess, wherein the first recess and the second recess are on opposite sides of a longitudinal centerline passing through the lateral midpoint of the surface of the body. 3. The fender of claim 2 , wherein the first recess and the second recess are positioned adjacent one another across the longitudinal centerline. 4. The fender of claim 2 , wherein the second post is offset from the longitudinal centerline in a direction toward the first recess. 5. The fender of claim 4 , wherein the third post is offset from the longitudinal centerline in a direction toward the second recess. 6. The fender of claim 1 , wherein the body of the fender comprises: a mount portion comprising the one or more recesses, the first post, and the second post; a front portion on a first side of the mount portion; and a rear portion on a second side of the mount portion opposite the first portion. 7. The fender of claim 6 , wherein the third post is positioned on the mount portion. 8. The fender of claim 6 , wherein the first post is positioned at a first elevation and the second post is positioned at a second elevation. 9. The fender of claim 6 , wherein the front portion extends a first length from the first side of the mount portion and the rear portion extends a second length from the second side of the mount portion, the second length being greater than the first length. 10. The fender of claim 1 , wherein the first post proximate to the one or more recesses and the second post proximate to the one or more recesses are spaced away from one another along a longitudinal centerline of the fender. 11. The fender of claim 1 , wherein the first post and the second post are configured to be received in corresponding recesses of a portion of the fork of the cycling apparatus. 12. The fender of claim 11 , wherein the first post and the second post are configured to have an interference fit with the corresponding recesses of the portion of the fork. 13. The fender of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first post or the second post has a tapered shape. 14. The fender of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first post or the second post has a stepped lateral wall. 15. A fender for a cycling apparatus, comprising: three posts positioned on a body of the fender, the three posts being laterally offset from one another on the body; and a first recess defined in the body of the fender, the first recess being positioned between at least two of the three posts; wherein the three posts and the first recess are configured to secure the fender to the cycling apparatus. 16. The fender of claim 15 , further comprising a second recess defined in the body of the fender, the second recess being positioned opposite the first recess and between at least two of the three posts. 17. The fender of claim 16 , wherein a first post of the three posts is positioned between the first and second recesses. 18. The fender of claim 16 , wherein the first recess forms a portion of a first side of the fender and the second recess forms a portion of a second side of the fender, opposite the first side. 19. The fender of claim 15 , wherein the three posts and the first recess are positioned on a mounting portion of the body of the fender, and wherein the body of the fender further comprises a front portion and a rear portion. 20. The fender of claim 15 , wherein a front portion of the fender is positioned adjacent to a first post of the three posts and the first post is positioned along a lateral midline of the fender. 21. The fender of claim 15 , wherein a rear portion of the fender is positioned adjacent to second and third posts of the three posts, and wherein the second and third posts are opposite one another across a lateral midline of the body of the fender. 22. The fender of claim 15 , wherein the first recess is configured to receive a fork blade of the cycling apparatus. 23. The fender of claim 15 , wherein the three posts are configured to be received in a portion of a fork of the cycling apparatus. 24. A fender for a cycling apparatus, comprising: a fender body; one or more recesses in the fender body, wherein each of the one or more recesses is configured to receive a corresponding fork blade of a fork of the cycling apparatus; a first post positioned on the fender body; and a second post positioned on the fender body and laterally offset from the first post; wherein at least one of the first post or the second post has a tapered shape; and wherein the one or more recesses, the first post, and the second post are configured to secure the fender to the cycling apparatus. 25.
