The present disclosure describes thiazole and pyridine carboxamide derivatives, their compositions and methods of use. The compounds inhibit the activity of the Pim kinases and are useful in the treatment of diseases related to the activity of Pim kinases including, e.g., cancer and other diseases.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound, which is N-{4-[3-amino-4-hydroxy-5-methylpiperidin-1-yl]-7-hydroxy-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridin-3-yl}-6-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-5-fluoropyridine-2-carboxamide, wherein one or more hydrogen atoms are replaced by deuterium, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 3. A compound, which is N-{4-[(3R,4R,5S)-3-Amino-4-hydroxy-5-methylpiperidin-1-yl]-7-hydroxy-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridin-3-yl}-6-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-5-fluoropyridine-2-carboxamide, wherein one or more hydrogen atoms are replaced by deuterium, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 3 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
