The invention claimed is: 1. A peptide derived from the propeptide (PE) of the neurotensin receptor 3 (NTSR3) selected from the group consisting of: the peptide G/A-PE(22-28) consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 7 (AVSWGLR), and the biotinylated peptide G/A-PE(22-28) corresponding to the sequence SEQ ID NO: 7 biotinylated. 2. A medicament comprising the peptide according to claim 1 . 3. The medicament according to claim 2 , wherein the medicament is an antidepressant. 4. A method for treating depression in a subject in need thereof, said method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of the peptide according to claim 1 .
