The invention claimed is: 1. A method for treating a pathogenic Escherichia coli infection, the method comprising: administering to an animal other than a human a composition including the Siphoviridae bacteriophage Esc-COP-9 (Accession number: KCTC 13131BP) that can kill pathogenic Escherichia coli specifically, which has the genome represented by SEQ. ID. NO: 1, as an active ingredient. 2. The method for treating the pathogenic Escherichia coli infection of claim 1 , wherein said composition is administered to the animal other than the human for use of a feed additive, a drinking-water additive, or a disinfectant.
