Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An electrolyte solution applicable to high-voltage electrochemical devices and capable of improving the cycle characteristics of electrochemical devices even at high voltage, and an electrochemical device. The electrolyte solution contains a fluorinated diether and a metal salt having a specific structure. The fluorinated diether is represented by CFR 11 R 12 —O—CH 2 CH 2 —O—R 13 , wherein R 11 and R 12 are each individually H, CH 3 , F, CH 2 F, CHF 2 , or CF 3 ; and R 13 is a C1 or C2 non-fluorinated alkyl group or a C1 or C2 fluorinated alkyl group.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. An electrolyte solution comprising: a solvent; and a compound (2), the solvent containing a fluorinated diether (1) represented by the following (1): wherein R 11 and R 12 are each individually H or F; and R 13 is CH 3 , CH 2 F, CHF 2 , or CF 3 , the compound (2) being represented by the following formula (2): wherein A a+ is a lithium ion; a is 1; b is 1; p is b/a; n 23 is 1 or 2; n 21 is 0, 2, or 4; Z 21 is B or P; L 21 is a fluorine atom; Y 21 and Y 22 are O. 2. The electrolyte solution according to claim 1 , wherein the solvent contains 5% by volume or more of the fluorinated diether (1). 3. The electrolyte solution according to claim 1 , wherein the solvent further contains at least one compound (3) selected from the group consisting of a fluorinated carbonate and a fluorinated acyclic ester. 4. The electrolyte solution according to claim 3 , wherein the solvent contains 6 to 80% by volume of the fluorinated diether (1) and 20 to 94% by volume of the compound (3), and the electrolyte solution contains 0.01 to 10% by mass of the compound (2) relative to the solvent. 5. An electrochemical device comprising the electrolyte solution according to claim 1 . 6. A lithium-ion secondary battery comprising the electrolyte solution according to claim 1 . 7. A module comprising the electrochemical device according to claim 5 . 8. A module comprising the lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 6 .
