We claim: 1. A method comprising: at a first power-management device, determining a first set of data for a first device electrically connected to the first power-management device; at a second power-management device, determining a second set of data for a second device electrically connected to the second power-management device, wherein the first and second power management devices are communicatively connected; at the first power-management device, receiving a signal from a third device; based on the signal, determining an occurrence of a trigger event at the first power management device; in response to determining the occurrence of the trigger event, at the first power-management device, controlling a first power provision of the first device; and reporting a result of a power consumption based on the first and second sets of data and the first and second power provisions. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to determining the occurrence of the trigger event: sending a second signal to the second power-management device; and based on the second signal, controlling a second power provision of the second device. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the result is reported automatically based on the signal from the third device. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second power-management device comprises a power outlet. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first power-management device comprises a switch associated with the first device. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the first device comprises a connected light bulb, wherein the second device comprises a lamp. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the signal comprises a set of lighting instructions for the connected light and the lamp, wherein the first provision is specified according to the lighting instructions. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the signal is associated with a user preference, wherein the first power provision is determined based on the user preference. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first and second power-management devices are repeater nodes in a wireless data transfer network, wherein the first and second power-management devices are communicatively coupled to the first and second devices by the respective electrical connections. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second power-management device is located within a building, wherein the first device is located outside the building. 11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second device comprises an air conditioner. 12. A system comprising: a power-management device configured to electrically connect to a first and second device, the power-management device comprising a processor configured to: determine a first and second set of data for the first and second devices, respectively; when a trigger event is determined based on a signal received at the power-management device from a third device, control a first and second power provision to the first and second devices, respectively, based on the first and second sets of data; and report a result of a power consumption based on the first and second power provisions. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the power-management device comprises a first and second switch associated with the first and second devices, respectively. 14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the first and second sets of data are based on a switch state of the first and second switches, respectively. 15. The system of claim 12 , wherein the processor is further configured to determine a device identifier for the first and second devices based on power draw characteristics of the first and second sets of data, wherein the first and second power provisions are controlled based on the respective device identifiers. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the occurrence of the trigger event is determined based on the device identifier. 17. The system of claim 12 , wherein the signal comprises a set of user-specified lighting instructions for the first and second devices. 18. The system of claim 17 , determining the occurrence of the trigger event comprises detecting a user within a predetermined threshold of the first device. 19. The system of claim 17 , wherein the trigger event is associated with a lighting pattern associated with the first and second devices. 20. The system of claim 12 , wherein controlling the first power consumption modifying a brightness of a light emitter of the first device.
