Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Method for manufacturing a pressurising device for a beverage container, wherein a gas container is provided having a filling opening, into which gas container an amount of dry ice is inserted through the filling opening, where after the filling opening is closed and the dry ice is allowed to sublimate.

First claim

Opening claim text (preview).

The invention claimed is: 1. A pressurizing device, comprising a gas container having a filling opening, the gas container comprising an amount of dry ice inserted through the filling opening, wherein the filling opening is closed, such that the dry ice is allowed to sublimate, wherein a pressure regulator is provided on the gas container and wherein the pressure regulator comprises a pressure regulating chamber comprising a gas at a reference pressure, for opening and closing a gas valve of the gas container to a surroundings of the gas valve, depending on a pressure prevailing in said surroundings the pressure regulating chamber comprising a wall part that opens and closes the gas valve in response to pressure in a beverage container. 2. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the filling opening is closed by the pressure regulator. 3. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the amount of dry ice provided in the gas container is such that after sublimation the gas container is filled such that an internal pressure in the gas container is between 4 and 20 bar when measured at a temperature of 6° C. 4. The device according to claim 3 , wherein the amount of dry ice provided in the gas container is such that after sublimation the gas container is filled such that the internal pressure in the gas container is between 5 and 16 bar when measured at a temperature of 6° C. 5. The device according to claim 1 , wherein an amount of gas absorbing and/or adsorbing material is provided in the gas container. 6. The device according to claim 5 , wherein the gas absorbing and/or adsorbing material is active coal or zeolite. 7. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the gas container is mounted on or in the beverage container. 8. The device according to claim 7 , wherein the gas container is suspended in a neck portion of the beverage container, such that part of the gas container extends into an inner space of the beverage container, passed the neck portion. 9. The device according to claim 8 , wherein the gas container is expanded in the inner space by the gas formed by sublimation of the dry ice. 10. The device according to claim 7 , wherein the gas container is first mounted on or in a beverage container and dry ice is then placed into the gas container. 11. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the dry ice is fed into the gas container as multiple solid elements. 12. The device according to claim 11 , wherein the multiple solid elements comprise powder or granules. 13. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the gas container is suspended in the beverage container, at a dispense opening thereof, wherein the filling opening of the gas container and the dispense opening are closed by a common lid comprising dispensing means for a beverage and a pressure control device for feeding the gas from the gas container into the beverage container. 14. The device according to claim 1 , the beverage container, comprising a beverage compartment and a gas container, wherein the pressure regulator is provided in a dispense opening of the beverage container, wherein the gas container is partly filled with dry ice, and wherein the pressure regulating device is configured to regulate the pressure inside the beverage compartment at a constant pressure. 15. The device according to claim 14 , wherein a gas adsorbing and/or absorbing material is provided in the gas container. 16. The beverage container according to claim 14 , wherein the beverage container comprises a dispense opening, wherein the pressure regulating device is provided in the dispense opening of the beverage container. 17. The device according to claim 14 , wherein the beverage compartment comprises a carbonated beverage and the pressure regulating device is configured to regulate the pressure inside the beverage compartment at an equilibrium pressure of the carbonated beverage. 18. A pressurizing device, comprising a gas container having a filling opening, the gas container comprising an amount of dry ice inserted through the filling opening, wherein the filling opening is closed, such that the dry ice is allowed to sublimate, wherein a pressure regulator is provided on the gas container, and wherein the pressure regulator comprises a pressure regulating chamber comprising a gas at a reference pressure, for opening and closing a gas valve of the gas container to a surrounding of the gas valve, depending on a pressure prevailing in the surrounding, the pressure regulating chamber comprising a wall part that opens and closes the gas valve in response to pressure in a beverage container, wherein the gas container is made of plastic. 19. The pressurizing device of claim 18 , wherein the gas container has been expanded radially outward by the gas sublimated from the dry ice. 20. A pressurizing device, comprising a gas container having a filling opening, the gas container comprising an amount of dry ice inserted through the filling opening, wherein the filling opening is closed, such that the dry ice is allowed to sublimate, wherein a pressure regulator is provided on the gas container and wherein the pressure regulator comprises a pressure regulating chamber comprising a gas at a reference pressure, for opening and closing a gas valve of the gas container to a surroundings of the gas valve, depending on a pressure prevailing in said surroundings, wherein the pressure regulating chamber is part of a dispensing device coupled to or provided in a beverage container.
