That which is claimed is: 1. A passenger seat assembly comprising: a modular seat body comprising: a backrest having a top end and a bottom end, wherein the bottom end is connected to a base, wherein the base is configured to sit on a floor of a vehicle, and wherein the backrest further comprises a first side, a second side opposite from the first side, a forward-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side, and an aft-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side; a headrest having an upper end and a lower end, wherein the lower end of the headrest is coupled to the top end of the backrest; and a privacy shell comprising: a top end and a bottom end; a first side panel extending between the top end and bottom end; a second side panel extending between the top end and bottom end and distal from the first side panel; and a back panel extending between the top end and bottom end and extending between the first side panel and the second side panel; wherein the back panel is removably attached to the headrest such that the bottom end of the privacy shell is disposed above the top end of the backrest; wherein the privacy shell extends from the lower end of the headrest in an upward direction along the headrest such that the top end of the privacy shell extends above the upper end of the headrest and at least a portion of the privacy shell extends in a forward direction relative to the forward-facing surface of the backrest; and wherein the aft-facing surface is not covered by the privacy shell. 2. The passenger seat assembly of claim 1 , wherein the privacy shell covers at least a portion of the second side of the backrest. 3. The passenger seat assembly of claim 1 , wherein the privacy shell further comprises a top panel connected to the back panel and extending between the first side panel and the second side panel, and wherein the top panel is angled with respect to the back panel. 4. The passenger seat assembly of claim 3 , wherein the top panel is curved. 5. The passenger seat assembly of claim 3 , wherein the top panel is angled at an obtuse angle relative to the back panel. 6. The passenger seat assembly of claim 3 , wherein the top panel is angled at a right angle relative to the back panel. 7. The passenger seat assembly of claim 3 , wherein the top panel is angled at an acute angle relative to the back panel. 8. The passenger seat assembly of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first side panel, the second side panel, and the back panel are curved. 9. The passenger seat assembly of claim 1 , wherein the privacy shell covers at least a portion of the base. 10. A passenger seat assembly comprising: a plurality of modular seat bodies, each modular seat body comprising: a backrest having a top end and a bottom end, wherein the bottom end is connected to a base, wherein the base is configured to sit on a floor of a vehicle, and wherein each backrest of the plurality of modular seat bodies further comprises a first side, a second side distal from the first side, a forward-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side, and an aft-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side; a headrest having an upper end and a lower end, wherein the lower end of the headrest is coupled to the top end of the backrest and a privacy shell comprising: a top end and a bottom end; a first side panel extending between the top end and bottom end; a second side panel extending between the top end and bottom end and distal from the first side panel; and a back panel extending between the top end and bottom end and extending between the first side panel and the second side pane; wherein the back panel is removably attached to at least one of the plurality of modular seat bodies; wherein the privacy shell is mounted to the headrest such that the bottom end of the privacy shell is disposed above the top end of the backrest of the one of the plurality of modular seat bodies, and wherein the privacy shell extends from the lower end of the headrest and extends in an upward direction such that the top end of the privacy shell extends above the upper end of the headrest and at least a portion of the privacy shell extends in a forward direction relative to the forward-facing surface of the backrest and the aft-facing surface is not covered by the privacy shell. 11. The passenger seat assembly of claim 10 , wherein the privacy shell comprises a width, and wherein the width spans at least two backrests of the plurality of modular seat bodies. 12. The passenger seat assembly of claim 10 , wherein the privacy shell further comprises a top panel connected to the back panel and extending between the first side panel and the second side panel, and wherein the top panel is angled with respect to the back panel. 13. A passenger seat assembly comprising: a modular seat body comprising: a backrest connected to a base, wherein the base is configured to sit on a floor of a vehicle, and wherein the backrest comprises a first side, a second side opposite from the first side, a forward-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side, and an aft-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side; a headrest having an upper end and a lower end, wherein the lower end of the headrest is coupled to a top end of the backrest; and a privacy shell comprising: a top end and a bottom end; a first side panel extending between the top end and bottom end; a second side panel extending between the top end and bottom end and distal from the first side panel; and a back panel extending between the top end and bottom end extending between the first side panel and the second side panel; wherein the back panel is removably attached to the headrest such that the bottom end of the privacy shell is disposed above and spaced apart from the top end of the backrest, wherein the privacy shell extends from the lower end of the headrest in an upward direction such that the upper end of the privacy shell extends above the upper end of the headrest and at least a portion of the privacy shell extends in a forward direction relative to the forward-facing surface of the backrest. 14. The passenger seat assembly of claim 13 , wherein the privacy shell covers at least a portion of the second side of the backrest and at least a portion of the first side of the backrest. 15. The passenger seat assembly of claim 13 , wherein the privacy shell further comprises a top panel connected to the back panel and extending between the first side panel and the second side panel, and wherein the top panel is angled with respect to the back panel.
