Compounds are provided according to Formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof; wherein R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 are as defined herein. Compounds of the present invention are contemplated useful for the prevention and treatment of a variety of conditions.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound of Formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: R 1 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl; R 2 is selected from the group consisting of cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, and cyclohexyl; R 5 is absent or hydrogen; and represents a single or double bond, wherein when one is a double bond, the other is a single bond and R 5 is absent. 2. The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is substituted C 1-6 alkyl. 3. The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl. 4. The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is methyl or ethyl. 5. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound of Formula (I) is a compound of Formula (I-A) or Formula (I-B): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 6. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound of Formula (I) is selected from: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 7. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 8. A method of inducing sedation or anesthesia comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or pharmaceutical composition thereof.
