A cognitive information processing system comprising: a cognitive inference and learning system coupled to receive data from a plurality of data sources and to provide insights to a destination, the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a first interface, the first interface providing the data from the plurality of data sources to the cognitive interface and learning system, and, the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a second interface, the second interface providing the cognitively processed insights to the destination.

What is claimed is: 1. A cognitive information processing system comprising: a cognitive inference and learning system coupled to receive data from a plurality of data sources and to provide insights to a destination, the cognitive inference and learning system executing on a hardware processor of an information processing system, the cognitive inference and learning system and the information processing system providing a cognitive computing function, the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a cognitive platform, the cognitive platform comprising a sourcing agent and a destination agent; the cognitive inference and learning system processing the data from the plurality of data sources to provide cognitively processed insights, the cognitive inference and learning system further comprising performing a learning operation to iteratively improve the cognitively processed insights over time; the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a first interface, the first interface providing the data from the plurality of data sources to the cognitive interface and learning system, the first interface comprising a sourcing agent application program interface (API), the sourcing agent API being implemented to enable the sourcing agent to source a variety of multi-site, multi-structured source data streams, the multi-site, multi-structured source data streams being dynamically ingested via the sourcing agent API, the sourcing agent comprising a sourcing agent API connectors agent, the sourcing agent API connectors agent being implemented to manage interactions with APIs that are external to the cognitive platform; and, the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a second interface, the second interface providing the cognitively processed insights to the destination, the second interface comprising a destination agent application program interface (API), the destination agent application program interface being implemented to enable a destination agent to publish the cognitively processed insights to a consumer of cognitive insight data, the destination agent comprising a destination agent API connectors agent, the destination agent API connectors agent being implemented to manage interactions with APIs that are external to the cognitive platform, the destination comprising a cognitive application, the cognitive application enabling a user to interact with the cognitively processed insights via the destination agent API. 2. The cognitive information processing system of claim 1 , wherein: the first interface comprises a sourcing agent application program interface (API). 3. The cognitive information processing system of claim 1 , wherein: the second interface comprises a destination agent application program interface (API). 4. The cognitive information processing system of claim 1 , further comprising: a third interface, the third interface comprises a cognitive applications application program interface (API). 5. The cognitive information processing system of claim 4 , wherein: the third interface comprises a project and dataset agent application program interface (API), the project and dataset agent application program interface (API) enabling management of data and metadata associated with a cognitive insight project and a user account. 6. The cognitive information processing system of claim 4 , wherein: the third interface comprises a cognitive search API, the cognitive search API uses natural language processes to access predetermined outputs from a cognitive graph. 7. The cognitive information processing system of claim 4 , wherein: the third interface comprises a cognitive insight API, the cognitive insight API enabling configuration of an insight/learning operation. 8. A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium embodying computer program code, the computer program code comprising computer executable instructions configured for: processing data from a plurality of data sources to provide cognitively processed insights via a cognitive inference and learning system, the cognitive inference and learning system executing on an information processing system, the cognitive inference and learning system and the information processing system providing a cognitive computing function, the cognitive inference and learning system comprising a cognitive platform, the cognitive platform comprising a sourcing agent and a destination agent, the cognitive inference and learning system further comprising performing a learning operation to iteratively improve the cognitively processed insights over time; receiving the data from the plurality of data sources to the cognitive interface and learning system via a first interface, the first interface comprising a sourcing agent application program interface (API), the sourcing agent API being implemented to enable the sourcing agent to source a variety of multi-site, multi-structured source data streams, the multi-site, multi-structured source data streams being dynamically ingested via the sourcing agent API, the sourcing agent comprising a sourcing agent API connectors agent, the sourcing agent API connectors agent being implemented to manage interactions with APIs that are external to the cognitive platform; and, providing the cognitively processed insights to a destination via a second interface, the second interface comprising a destination agent application program interface (API), the destination agent application program interface being implemented to enable a destination agent to publish the cognitively processed insights to a consumer of cognitive insight data, the destination agent comprising a destination agent API connectors agent, the destination agent API connectors agent being implemented to manage interactions with APIs that are external to the cognitive platform, the destination comprising a cognitive application, the cognitive application enabling a user to interact with the cognitively processed insights, interaction with the cognitive insights via the destination agent API. 9. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the computer executable instructions are provided by a service provider to a user on an on-demand basis. 10. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein: the first interface comprises a sourcing agent application program interface (API). 11. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein: the second interface comprises a destination agent application program interface (API). 12. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions executable by the processor further comprise instructions for: interacting with at least one cognitive application via a third interface, the third interface comprising a cognitive applications application program interface (API). 13. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the instructions executable by the processor further comprise instructions for: the third interface comprises a project and dataset agent application program interface (API), the project and dataset agent application program interface (API) enabling management of data and metadata associated with a cognitive insight project and a user account. 14. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein: the third interface comprises a cognitive search API, the cognitive search API uses natural language processes to access predetermined outputs from a cognitive graph. 15.
