There are described RORγ modulators of the formula (I), or stereoisomers, tautomers, pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, or prodrugs thereof, wherein all substituents are defined herein. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same. Such compounds and compositions are useful in methods for modulating RORγ activity in a cell and methods for treating a subject suffering from a disease or disorder in which the subject would therapeutically benefit from modulation of RORγ activity, for example, autoimmune and/or inflammatory disorders.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound, or a stereoisomer or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof, wherein the compound is selected from the group consisting of: 2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising one or more compounds according to claim 1 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. 3. A method of treating a disease or disorder selected from an autoimmune disease or disorder, asthma, an allergic disease or disorder, a metabolic disease or disorder, and cancer in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically-effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 . 4. The method of claim 3 wherein the autoimmune disease or disorder is selected from psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, acute graft-versus-host disease, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and multiple sclerosis.
