What is claimed is: 1. A connector assembly comprising: a housing that includes a terminal cavity defining a cavity axis and an insertion direction, a lock arm that extends from the housing to an outer end, a lock tab that extends from the lock arm toward the cavity axis, a raised ridge that extends toward the outer end of the lock arm, and a forward block that extends from the outer end of the lock arm in the insertion direction; and an electric terminal disposed within the terminal cavity and including a lock window and an outer surface portion that is adjacent to the lock window, wherein: the raised ridge on the lock tab extends into the lock window of the electric terminal to retain the electric terminal within the terminal cavity; and the forward block on the lock arm extends along the outer surface portion of the electric terminal in the insertion direction. 2. The connector assembly of claim 1 , wherein the lock tab includes a flat that is in contact with the electric terminal. 3. The connector assembly of claim 1 , wherein the lock tab includes two flats that are each in contact with the electric terminal. 4. The connector assembly of claim 3 , wherein the two flats are provided on opposed sides of the raised ridge. 5. The connector assembly of claim 1 , further including a terminal position assurance supported on the housing and movable from a pre-lock position to a locked position, the terminal position assurance having a lock stop that prevents the lock tab on the lock arm from being removed from the lock window of the electric terminal when the terminal position assurance is located in the locked position relative to the housing.
