A power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler includes: a power supply able to discharge power to a load for generating an aerosol from an aerosol source; a connector able to be electrically connected to an external power supply; and a charger configured to be able to convert power which is input from the connector into charging power for the power supply. The power supply unit further includes a first zener diode which is provided between the connector and the charger so as to be connected in parallel with the charger, and the first zener diode is connected so as to be closer to an input terminal of the charger than to an output terminal of the connector.

What is claimed is: 1. A power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler, the power supply unit comprising: a power supply that discharges power to a load for generating an aerosol from an aerosol source; a connector electrically connected to an external power supply; a charger that converts power input from the connector into charging power for the power supply and that operates only during charging of the power supply; and a first zener diode disposed between the connector and the charger and connected in parallel with the charger, wherein the first zener diode is connected to be closer to an input terminal of the charger than to an output terminal of the connector. 2. The power supply unit according to claim 1 , further comprising: a first circuit board on which the connector is disposed; and a second circuit board that is apart from the first circuit board and on which the charger is disposed, wherein the first zener diode is disposed on the second circuit board. 3. The power supply unit according to claim 1 , further comprising: a conductive member that is disposed between the connector and the charger and electrically connects the connector and the charger, wherein the first zener diode is disposed on a downstream side of the conductive member. 4. The power supply unit according to claim 1 , wherein the first zener diode is directly connected to a bus that electrically connects the connector and the charger. 5. The power supply unit according to claim 4 , further comprising: a capacitor that is disposed between the first zener diode and the charger and is electrically connected in parallel with the charger. 6. The power supply unit according to claim 1 , further comprising: a second zener diode that is disposed between the connector and the first zener diode and is connected in parallel with the first zener diode. 7. The power supply unit according to claim 6 , further comprising: a conductive member disposed between the connector and the charger and connected in parallel with the charger, wherein the first zener diode is disposed on a downstream side of the conductive member, and the second zener diode is disposed on an upstream side of the conductive member. 8. The power supply unit according to claim 6 , wherein the first zener diode and the second zener diode are identical components. 9. A power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler, the power supply unit comprising: a power supply that discharges power to a load for generating an aerosol from an aerosol source; a connector electrically connected to an external power supply; a charger that converts power input from the connector into charging power for the power supply; a first zener diode disposed between the connector and the charger and connected in parallel with the charger, wherein the first zener diode is connected to be closer to an input terminal of the charger than to an output terminal of the connector; a second zener diode disposed between the connector and the first zener diode and connected in parallel with the first zener diode; a first circuit board on which the connector is disposed; and a second circuit board that is apart from the first circuit board and on which the charger is disposed, wherein the first zener diode is disposed on the second circuit board, and the second zener diode is disposed on the first circuit board. 10. A power supply unit for an aerosol inhaler, the power supply unit comprising: a power supply that discharges power to a load for generating an aerosol from an aerosol source; a connector electrically connected to an external power supply; a charger that converts power input from the connector into charging power for the power supply; a first zener diode disposed between the connector and the charger and connected in parallel with the charger, wherein the first zener diode is connected to be closer to an input terminal of the charger than to an output terminal of the connector; a second zener diode disposed between the connector and the first zener diode and connected in parallel with the first zener diode; and a resistor disposed between the first zener diode and the second zener diode and connected in series with the first zener diode and the second zener diode. 11. The power supply unit according to claim 10 , further comprising: a conductive member that is disposed between the connector and the charger and electrically connects the connector and the charger, wherein the resistor is connected on an upstream side from the conductive member.
