A bag in box container having one or more features for lifting the bag in box, deploying the tap dispenser of the bag in box conveniently, storing a dosing cup, or conveniently using the bag in box container.
Opening claim text (preview).
What is claimed is: 1. A bag in box container comprising: a tap dispenser engaged with said bag in box container; a front panel that is a dispensing side of said bag in box container, a rear panel opposite said front panel, opposing side panels connecting said front panel to said rear panel, a bottom panel below said tap dispenser, and a top panel opposite said bottom panel, wherein said front panel, said rear panel, said side panels, said top panel, and said bottom panel define an interior space; a dosing cup housed in said interior space, wherein said dosing cup comprises a closed end and an open end and a peripheral wall extending from said closed end to said open end; a predetermined removable portion in or facing said top panel, wherein when said predetermined removable portion is removed a dosing cup holder opening is opened and said dosing cup holder opening is sized and dimensioned such that said closed end can pass through said dosing cup holder opening and into said interior space and said open end is exterior to said bag in box container when said dosing cup is seated in said dosing cup holder opening; and a removeable tear strip in said front panel at least partially covering said tap dispenser, wherein at least a portion of said tap dispenser is within said dosing cup and said removable tear strip covers said dosing cup and said tap dispenser. 2. The bag in box container according to claim 1 , wherein said predetermined removable portion is in said top panel, wherein said predetermined removable portion is sized and dimensioned such that when said predetermined removable portion is removed to open said dosing cup holder opening said closed end can pass through said dosing cup holder opening and into said interior space and said open end is exterior to said bag in box container when said dosing cup is seated in said dosing cup holder opening. 3. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said dosing cup holder opening comprises an open axis that is an open portion sized and dimensioned to receive index, middle, ring, and little fingers arranged in an extended side by side relationship of an individual adult human hand. 4. The bag in box container according to claim 3 , wherein said open axis extends from proximal said front panel to proximal said rear panel. 5. The bag in box container according to claim 3 , wherein said open axis extends between said side panels. 6. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said dosing cup holder opening is formed by said removing said predetermined removable portion. 7. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said predetermined removable portion covers said cup holder opening. 8. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said predetermined removable portion is bounded by a frangible boundary ( 420 ). 9. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein when said bag in box container is in operable position said tap dispenser is above said bottom panel and said top panel is above said bottom panel. 10. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said tap dispenser is engaged with a flexible bag housed in said interior space. 11. A process of deploying the bag in box container of claim 1 comprising the steps of: removing said dosing cup from said interior space; removing said predetermined removable portion from said top panel; placing said closed end of said dosing cup into said dosing cup holder opening so that said dosing cup is held by said dosing cup holder opening. 12. The bag in box container according to claim 1 , wherein said dosing cup holder opening comprises an open axis that is an open portion sized and dimensioned to receive index, middle, ring, and little fingers arranged in an extended side by side relationship of an individual adult human hand. 13. The bag in box container according to claim 12 wherein said open axis extends from proximal said front panel to proximal said rear panel. 14. The bag in box container according to claim 12 , wherein said open axis extends between said side panels. 15. The bag in box container according to claim 12 , wherein said predetermined removable portion covers said cup holder opening. 16. The bag in box container according to claim 2 , wherein said dosing cup holder opening comprises an open axis. 17. The process according to claim 11 , wherein said open end is exterior to said bag in box container when said dosing cup is seated in said dosing cup holder opening. 18. A bag in box container comprising: a tap dispenser engaged with said bag in box container; a front panel that is a dispensing side of said bag in box container, a rear panel opposite said front panel, opposing side panels connecting said front panel to said rear panel, a bottom panel below said tap dispenser, and a top panel opposite said bottom panel, wherein said front panel, said rear panel, said side panels, said top panel, and said bottom panel define an interior space; a dosing cup housed in said interior space, wherein said dosing cup comprises a closed end and an open end and a peripheral wall extending from said closed end to said open end, wherein at least a portion of said tap dispenser is within said dosing cup; and a predetermined removable portion in or facing said top panel, wherein when said predetermined removable portion is removed a dosing cup holder opening is opened and said dosing cup holder opening is sized and dimensioned such that said closed end can pass through said dosing cup holder opening and into said interior space and said open end is exterior to said bag in box container when said dosing cup is seated in said dosing cup holder opening. 19. The bag in box container according to claim 18 , wherein said predetermined removable portion is in said top panel, wherein said predetermined removable portion is sized and dimensioned such that when said predetermined removable portion is removed to open said dosing cup holder opening said closed end can pass through said dosing cup holder opening and into said interior space and said open end is exterior to said bag in box container when said dosing cup is seated in said dosing cup holder opening. 20. The bag in box container according to claim 19 , wherein said dosing cup holder opening comprises an open axis.
