Embodiments of putter-type golf club heads with adjustable loft and lie and methods of manufacturing of the same with adjustable loft and lie are generally described herein. These embodiments relate in particular to a putter-type club head with an adjustment portion that allows a user to change the loft and lie. The separate adjustment portions of the putter-type club head can couple the upper hosel to the body at a plurality of positions. An insert part of the adjustment portion has an upper section for receiving the upper hosel portion, a middle section, and a lower hosel portion. The sections of the adjustment portion can be coupled together by a fastener so that the sections are rotationally movable.

What is claimed is: 1. A putter-type golf club head comprising: a hosel having an upper hosel portion and a lower hosel portion; an insert; and a body portion; the body portion comprises a sole, a top rail, a heel end, and a toe end, and wherein a portion of the top rail forms a recess having a bounding geometry; the insert comprises at least one outer sidewall, a corresponding geometry to the recess of the body portion wherein the insert is configured to fit within the recess, and an insert recess comprising a first bore that extends through the insert; the body portion forms a second bore that extends through the recess in a top rail to sole direction; the lower hosel portion has an end portion; wherein the end portion forms a third bore that extends through a portion of the hosel; wherein the insert recess is configured to receive the end portion of the lower hosel portion; wherein the first bore, the second bore, and the third bore are all aligned and define a bore axis; wherein the bore axis is angled relative to the outer sidewall of the insert thereby forming a first loft angle; wherein a 180° rotation of the insert alters an angle of the bore axis relative to the outer sidewall to form a second loft angle; wherein the first loft angle corresponds to a first position of the insert and the second loft angle corresponds to a second position of the insert; and wherein the insert is made of a single piece. 2. The putter-type club head of claim 1 , wherein the upper hosel portion and the lower hosel portion is a one-piece structure. 3. The putter-type club head of claim 1 , wherein the upper hosel portion and the lower hosel portion are fixedly or rotatably connected to each other. 4. The putter-type club head of claim 1 , wherein fitting of the insert provides a near seamless or gap less configuration. 5. The putter-type club head of claim 1 , wherein the hosel is interchangeable with respect to the insert. 6. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the insert has three loft angle adjustments. 7. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the insert has four loft angle adjustments. 8. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the insert has five loft angle adjustments. 9. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the insert has six loft angle adjustments. 10. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the recess geometry of the body portion is rectangular. 11. The putter-type golf club head of claim 1 , wherein the recess geometry of the body portion is square. 12. A putter-type golf club head comprising: a hosel having an upper hosel portion and a lower hosel portion; an insert; and a body portion; the body portion comprises a sole, a top rail, a heel end, and a toe end, and wherein a portion of the top rail forms a recess having a bounding geometry; the insert comprises at least one outer sidewall, a corresponding geometry to the recess of the body portion wherein the insert is configured to fit within the recess, and an insert recess comprising a first bore that extends through the insert; the body portion forms a second bore that extends through the recess in a top rail to sole direction; the lower hosel portion has an end portion; wherein the end portion forms a third bore that extends through a portion of the hosel; wherein the insert recess is configured to receive the end portion of lower hosel portion; wherein the first bore, the second bore, and the third bore are all aligned and define a bore axis; wherein the bore axis is angled relative to the outer sidewall of the insert thereby forming a first loft angle; wherein a 90° rotation of the insert alters an angle of the bore axis relative to the outer sidewall to form a second loft angle; wherein the first loft angle corresponds to a first position of the insert and the second loft angle corresponds to a second position of the insert; and wherein the insert is made of a single piece. 13. The putter-type club head of claim 12 , wherein the upper hosel portion and the lower hosel portion is a one-piece structure. 14. The putter-type club head of claim 12 , wherein the upper hosel portion and the lower hosel portion are fixedly or rotatably connected to each other. 15. The putter-type club head of claim 12 , wherein fitting of the insert provides a near seamless or gap less configuration. 16. The putter-type club head of claim 12 , wherein the hosel is interchangeable with respect to the insert. 17. The putter-type golf club head of claim 12 , wherein the insert has three loft angle adjustments. 18. The putter-type golf club head of claim 12 , wherein the insert has four loft angle adjustments. 19. The putter-type golf club head of claim 12 , wherein the insert has five loft angle adjustments. 20. The putter-type golf club head of claim 12 , wherein the insert has six loft angle adjustments.
