Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A heating device in the form of a radiant heating device for a hob has a sheet-like support with a support top side, with at least one heating element on the support top side, which heating element is highly corrugated and runs in tracks in a laying pattern. The heating element has at least two heating conductor strips which each have lateral sides and a top edge and a bottom edge. These at least two heating conductor strips are placed together or placed on one another by way of their mutually facing lateral sides and are at least partially in contact. The at least two heating conductor strips are connected to one another in a fixed and non-detachable manner, advantageously before corrugation.

The invention claimed is: 1. A radiant heating device comprising: a sheet-like support with a support top side, at least one heating element on said support top side, said heating element running in tracks in a laying pattern, wherein: said heating element has at least two heating conductor strips, each of said heating conductor strips having lateral sides and a top edge and a bottom edge, said at least two heating conductor strips are placed together or placed on one another by way of said lateral sides mutually facing each other, said lateral sides are at least partially but not completely in contact relative to one another, and said at least two heating conductor strips are connected to one another in a fixed and non-detachable manner such that said at least two heating conductor strips are extend partially but not completely against one another. 2. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein a ratio of thickness of one said heating conductor strips to its height in a direction away from said support top side lies between 1:20 and 1:500. 3. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein said heating conductor strips are welded to one another. 4. The radiant heating device according to claim 3 , wherein said heating conductor strips are welded to one another by welding points at a distance along a longitudinal direction of said heating conductor strips from one another, said distance being 2 times to 20 times a height of one said heating conductor strip. 5. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein a connection of said at least two heating conductor strips is arranged below half a height of said heating conductor strips. 6. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , having precisely two said heating conductor strips being designed in one part and integrally with one another and are placed on one another by bending or folding along a bending line, said bending line running parallel in relation to an longitudinal extent of said heating element or parallel in relation to said top edge. 7. The radiant heating device according to claim 6 , having precisely two said heating conductor strips being designed in one part and integrally with one another and are machined out of a single strip. 8. The radiant heating device according to claim 6 , wherein said two heating conductor strips have holding elements, said holding elements are protruding from said bottom edge and are to be pushed into said support top side for a purpose of holding said heating element on said support, wherein said holding elements each protrude beyond said bottom edge to the same extent. 9. The radiant heating device according to claim 8 , wherein said bending edge or said bending line runs through end edges of said holding elements in such a way that said two heating conductor strips are connected to one another at said end edges of said holding elements. 10. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein said heating element is of two-layer design or of three-layer design with two said heating conductor strips on one another or three said heating conductor strips on one another. 11. The radiant heating device according to claim 10 , wherein said heating conductor strips are identical. 12. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein said heating conductor strips are held upright on said support top side, wherein said top edge is at a top and wherein said bottom edge is on or in said support. 13. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein said heating element has downwardly protruding holding elements which are to be pushed into said support top side for a purpose of holding said heating element on said support. 14. The radiant heating device according to claim 13 , wherein said holding elements protrude beyond a line which runs by more than 80% of a length along said bottom edge and parallel in relation to said top edge, wherein said holding elements protrude beyond said line by between 30% and 200% of said height of said heating conductor strip. 15. The radiant heating device according to claim 13 , wherein said holding elements are separate components which are placed over said top edge of said heating element by way of two limbs in a U shape or bow shape and protrude downwards beyond said bottom edge, wherein each of said holding elements encloses all of said layers of said heating conductor strips between them. 16. The radiant heating device according to claim 15 , wherein said holding elements are fastened to said heating element by means of a weld connection at said bottom edge in such a way that said two limbs which protrude downwards beyond said bottom edge are connected to one another and, at the same time, to said heating element in a lower region. 17. The radiant heating device according to claim 16 , wherein said holding elements are integrally formed on at least one said heating conductor strip as projections which protrude downwards and protrude beyond said line. 18. The radiant heating device according to claim 8 , wherein at least two said heating conductor strips are provided and lie on one another and are connected to one another, wherein each said heating conductor strip has its own holding elements, wherein said respective holding elements of said respective heating conductor strips are not arranged in an overlapping manner, but are offset in relation to one another. 19. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein said heating element is corrugated. 20. The radiant heating device according to claim 19 , wherein said heating element is corrugated with a wavelength of between 2 mm and 8 mm. 21. The radiant heating device according to claim 19 , wherein said heating element is corrugated with a wave amplitude of between 0.5 mm and 5 mm. 22. The radiant heating device according to claim 1 , wherein all of said heating conductor strips of said heating element are identical.
