Official abstract text for this publication.
Digital image capture session and metadata association techniques are described. In one example, a user input is received to initiate an image capture session. At least one digital image is captured using a digital camera during the image capture session. Audio input data is also collected using an audio input device during the image capture session and is converted into text data, e.g., speech-to-text. Metadata is generated based on the text data and associated with the at least one digital image. The at least one digital image is output as having the associated metadata as completion of the image capture session.

What is claimed is: 1. A method implemented by a computing device, the method comprising: receiving, by the computing device, a user input to initiate an image capture session; capturing, by the computing device, multiple digital images in a sequence using a digital camera during the image capture session; displaying, by the computing device, an animation including a thumbnail of each digital image of the multiple digital images captured in the sequence as moving to a portion of a user interface; collecting, by the computing device, audio input data using an audio input device during the image capture session, the audio input data usable to initiate a search to obtain information relating to the multiple digital images; initiating, by the computing device, the search to obtain the information; receiving, by the computing device, a search result including the information relating to the multiple digital images; and displaying, by the computing device, a particular thumbnail of the multiple digital images captured during the image capture session concurrently with the information relating to the multiple digital images. 2. The method as described in claim 1 , wherein initiating the search comprises converting the audio input data into text data and communicating the text data to a service provider system as part of the search to obtain the information relating to the multiple digital images, and wherein the search result including the information relating to the multiple digital images is obtained from the service provider system. 3. The method as described in claim 1 , wherein capturing the multiple digital images in the sequence during the image capture session includes: outputting, in real time, a timing indicator in the user interface to indicate a time at which each of the multiple digital images in the sequence is to be captured. 4. The method as described in claim 3 , wherein the timing indicator comprises a radial timer indicating passage of time as a circle expanding towards a border at a measured rate. 5. The method as described in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the multiple digital images includes a product or service and the audio input data identifies the product or service. 6. The method as described in claim 1 , wherein the capturing of the multiple digital images and the collecting of the audio input data are performed simultaneously by the computing device. 7. The method as described in claim 1 , further comprising saving the multiple digital images captured during the image capture session and saving the information relating to the multiple digital images, wherein the saved information relating to the multiple digital images includes a product name of a product contained within at least one of the multiple digital images and a price of the product, the price of the product based on an average price of similar products listed for sale on an online marketplace. 8. The method as described in claim 7 , further comprising monitoring to detect a change to the average price of similar products listed for sale on the online marketplace, and automatically updating the price of the product based on the change to the average price of similar products listed for sale on the online marketplace. 9. The method as described in claim 7 , wherein the saving comprises saving the multiple digital images captured during the image capture session, the product name of the product contained within the at least one of the multiple digital images, and the price of the product in a virtual vault along with at least one additional digital image, an additional product name of an additional product contained within the additional digital image, and an additional price of the additional product. 10. The method as described in claim 9 , further comprising displaying a current value of the product and the additional product saved in the virtual vault. 11. The method as described in claim 1 , wherein the user input comprises a press-and-hold input. 12. The method as described in claim 11 , wherein the multiple digital images are captured during the image capture session until the hold input is release. 13. The method as described in claim 1 , further comprising displaying a single thumbnail to represent the multiple digital images. 14. The method as described in claim 13 , further comprising collapsing the thumbnails of the multiple digital images behind the single thumbnail representing a single image of the multiple digital images. 15. A system comprising: at least a memory and a processor to perform operations comprising: capturing multiple digital images in a sequence using a digital camera in response to receipt of a user input to initiate an image capture session; displaying an animation including a thumbnail of each digital image of the multiple digital images captured in the sequences as moving to a portion of a user interface; collecting audio input data using an audio input device during the image capture session, the audio input data usable to initiate a search to obtain information relating to the multiple digital images; initiating the search to obtain the information; receiving a search result including the information relating to the multiple digital images; and displaying a particular thumbnail of the multiple digital images captured during the image capture session concurrently with the information relating to the multiple digital images. 16. The system as described in claim 15 , wherein capturing further comprises outputting, in real time, a timing indicator in the user interface to indicate a time at which each of the multiple digital images in the sequence is to be captured. 17. The system as described in claim 16 , wherein the timing indicator comprises a radial timer indicating passage of time as a circle expanding towards a border at a measured rate. 18. One or more computer-readable storage devices comprising instructions stored thereon that, responsive to execution by one or more processors, perform operations comprising: receiving a user input to initiate an image capture session; capturing multiple digital images in a sequence using a digital camera during the image capture session; displaying an animation including a thumbnail of each of the multiple digital images captured in the sequence as moving to a portion of a user interface; collecting audio input data using an audio input device during the image capture session, the audio input data usable to initiate a search to obtain information relating to the multiple digital images; initiating the search to obtain the information using the audio input data; receiving a search including the information relating to the multiple digital images; and displaying a particular thumbnail of the multiple digital images concurrently in the user interface with the information relating to the multiple digital images. 19. The one or more computer-readable storage devices as described in claim 18 , wherein the operations further comprise converting the audio input data into text data and initiating the search to obtain the information using the text data. 20. The one or more computer-readable storage devices as described in claim 19 , wherein the initiating the search comprises communicating the text data to a service provider system as part of the search to obtain the information relating to the multiple digital images, and wherein the search result including the information relating to the digital images is obtained from the service provider system.
