A vacuum interrupter for interrupting a voltage. The vacuum interrupter including a vacuum bottle housing and at least one vacuum bottle positioned within the vacuum bottle housing. The vacuum interrupter further including a seal between the vacuum bottle housing and an operating mechanism. The seal sealing the operating mechanism from an interior of the vacuum bottle. Wherein the seal includes an end coupled to the vacuum bottle housing. The vacuum interrupter further including a gasket positioned between the seal and the vacuum bottle housing. The gasket having an inner diameter configured to receive the end of the seal and extend radially outward from end of the seal.

What is claimed is: 1. A vacuum interrupter for interrupting a voltage comprising: a vacuum bottle housing; at least one vacuum bottle positioned within the vacuum bottle housing; a bellows between the vacuum bottle housing and an operating mechanism having a clevis including a head, the bellows sealing the operating mechanism from an interior of the vacuum bottle, wherein the bellows includes first end coupled to the vacuum bottle housing and a second end welded to the head; and a gasket positioned between the bellows and the vacuum bottle housing, the gasket having an inner diameter configured to receive the first end of the bellows and extend radially outward from end of the bellows. 2. The vacuum interrupter of claim 1 , wherein a second vacuum bottle is serially connected with the at least one vacuum bottle, the second vacuum bottle positioned within the interior of the vacuum bottle housing. 3. The vacuum interrupter of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum bottle includes a moveable contact configured to be reciprocated by the operating mechanism. 4. The vacuum interrupter of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum bottle housing is pressurized. 5. The vacuum interrupter of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum bottle housing comprises a solid housing. 6. The vacuum interrupter of claim 5 , wherein the solid housing comprises a polymer epoxy. 7. The vacuum interrupter of claim 6 , wherein the polymer epoxy is a cycloaliphatic polymer epoxy. 8. A method of interrupting a voltage, the method comprising: providing a vacuum bottle housing; positioning at least one vacuum bottle within an interior of the vacuum bottle housing; sealing, via a bellows, an operating mechanism from an interior of the vacuum bottle, wherein the bellows includes first end of the bellows coupled to the vacuum bottle housing and a second end of the bellows welded to a head of a clevis of the operating mechanism; and positioning a gasket between the bellows and the vacuum bottle housing, the gasket having an inner diameter configured to receive the first end of the bellows and extend radially outward from end of the bellows. 9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising serially connecting a second vacuum bottle with the at least one vacuum bottle, and positioning the second vacuum bottle within the interior of the vacuum bottle housing. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the vacuum bottle includes a moveable contact configured to be reciprocated by the operating mechanism. 11. The method of claim 8 , further comprising pressurizing the vacuum bottle housing. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein the vacuum bottle housing comprises a solid housing. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the solid housing comprises a polymer epoxy. 14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the polymer epoxy is a cycloaliphatic polymer epoxy.
