A system provides for locking or unlocking a lock at a door of an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling by a designated dwelling user. An intelligent door lock system includes a remotely operable lock at a dwelling accessible by a user and a server in communication with the intelligent door lock system. A user mobile device is in communication with the server. The user mobile device includes an App that provides for locking and/or unlocking of the lock of the intelligent door lock system. The user communicates with the server using the user's mobile device, and the server is configured to process the user crossings one or more geo-locations relative to the dwelling and create a data set that is stored in a database.

What is claimed is: 1. A system for locking or unlocking a remotely operable lock at a door of a dwelling via an intelligent door lock system at the dwelling, the system comprising: the intelligent door lock system, comprising the remotely operable lock at the dwelling; a server in communication with the intelligent door lock system; and a mobile device in communication with the server, wherein the server is configured to determine, based on a location of the mobile device communicated to the server, whether the mobile device has exited or entered one or more areas associated with one or more geo-fences associated with the dwelling, the one or more areas comprising a first area associated with a first geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, wherein the mobile device is configured to: in response to a determination made by the server that the mobile device has entered the first area associated with the first geo-fence, trigger the mobile device to monitor for wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system; and subsequent to triggering the mobile device to monitor for wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system and in response to detection of at least one wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system, trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device is configured to trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock at least in part by: connecting, via a short range wireless communication, to the intelligent door lock system; and generating, via the short range wireless communication, a signal to the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock. 3. The system of claim 1 , wherein a determination made by the server that the mobile device has entered one or more of the one or more areas is based at least in part on information associated with a history of crossings of the one or more geo-fences associated with the mobile device exiting and entering the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences. 4. The system of claim 1 , wherein a determination that the mobile device has entered one or more of the one or more areas is based on WiFi access point data, motion data accumulated during a time period when the mobile device is outside the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences, and/or time of day information. 5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device is further configured to: in response to a determination that the mobile device has entered the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences within a certain period of time of exiting the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences, determine that the remotely operable lock is not to be locked. 6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device is configured to trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock at least in part by, following a successful attempt to wirelessly communicate with the intelligent door lock system, establishing a secure wireless connection with the intelligent door lock system. 7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the mobile device is configured to establish the secure wireless connection with the intelligent door lock system in response to the successful attempt to wirelessly communicate at least in part by establishing the secure wireless connection in response to wirelessly detecting the intelligent door lock system. 8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device is configured to: in response to a determination that the mobile device has exited one or more of the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences, trigger the intelligent door lock system to lock the remotely operable lock. 9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the remotely operable lock is configured to lock in response to a period of time elapsing since receiving a notification that the mobile device exited the one or more of the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences. 10. The system of claim 8 , wherein: the one or more areas further comprise a second area associated with a second geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, and the mobile device is configured to trigger the intelligent door lock system to lock the remotely operable lock in response to a determination that the mobile device has exited both the first area and the second area. 11. The system of claim 8 , wherein: the one or more areas further comprise a second area associated with a second geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, and the mobile device is configured to refrain from triggering the intelligent door lock system to lock the remotely operable lock in response to a determination that the mobile device has exited the first area but has not exited the second area. 12. A system for locking or unlocking a remotely operable lock at a door of a dwelling, the system comprising: an intelligent door lock system comprising the remotely operable lock; and a mobile device configured to determine, based on a location of the mobile device, whether the mobile device has exited or entered one or more areas associated with one or more geo-fences associated with the dwelling, the one or more areas comprising a first area associated with a first geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, wherein the mobile device is further configured to: in response to a determination made by the mobile device that the mobile device has entered the first area associated with the first geo-fence, trigger the mobile device to monitor for wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system; and subsequent to triggering the mobile device to monitor for wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system and in response to detection of at least one wireless communication from the intelligent door lock system, trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the mobile device is configured to trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operably lock at least in part by: connecting, via a short range wireless communication, to the intelligent door lock system; and generating, via the short range wireless communication, a signal to the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock. 14. The system of claim 12 , wherein: the one or more areas further comprise a second area associated with a second geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, and the mobile device is configured to trigger the intelligent door lock system to unlock the remotely operable lock in response to determining that the mobile device has entered the first area. 15. The system of claim 12 , wherein the remotely operable lock is configured to lock in response to a period of time elapsing since receiving a notification that the mobile device exited one or more of the one or more areas associated with the one or more geo-fences. 16. The system of claim 12 , wherein: the one or more areas further comprise a second area associated with a second geo-fence of the one or more geo-fences, and the mobile device is configured to: trigger the intelligent door lock system to lock the remotely operable lock in response to determining that the mobile device has exited both the first area and the second area, and refrain from triggering the intelligent door lock system to lock the remotely operable lock in response to determining that the mobile device has exited the first area but not the second area.
