A portable grill with a battery power system includes a primary direct-current power source and a secondary direct-current power source. The primary power source can connect onto the outside of the grill via a clip. The secondary power source, which can be disposed within the grill so as not to be exposed to outside elements, can continue to power the grill when the user removes and/or replaces the primary power source during the operation of the grill. A user feedback system can remotely alert the user with information regarding the time or power remaining in the primary power source.

I claim: 1. A portable grilling device, comprising: at least one primary direct-current power source removably connected to the portable grilling device via at least one clip; a secondary direct-current power source that supplies power to the portable grilling device when the at least one primary direct-current power source is removed; and a user feedback system configured to calculate a remaining time left before the at least one primary direct-current power source runs out of power and relay the remaining time left to a user, wherein the portable grilling device is configured to electrically connect to a stationary electrical outlet to power the portable grill device, and wherein electrical connections between the at least one primary direct-current power source and the at least one clip reverse polarities to charge the at least one primary direct-current power source when the portable grilling device is powered by the stationary electrical outlet. 2. The portable grilling device of claim 1 , wherein: the at least one primary direct-current power source is configured to power the grill for at least six-hours; and the secondary direct-current power source is configured to power the grill for less than ten-minutes. 3. The portable grilling device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one primary direct-current power source is configured to at least partially charge the secondary direct-current power source while simultaneously providing power to the portable grilling device during use. 4. The portable grilling device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one clip receives the at least one primary direct-current power source and removably secures the at least one primary direct-current power source to the portable grilling device, and wherein at least a portion of the at least one clip is accessible from an outside of the portable grilling device. 5. The portable grilling device of claim 4 , further comprising a cover extending at least partially over the at least one clip and the at least one primary direct-current power source when the at least one primary direct-current power source is connected to the at least one clip, wherein the cover shields the at least one clip and the at least one primary direct-current power source from outside elements. 6. The portable grilling device of claim 4 , wherein the at least one direct-current power source comprises two or more primary direct-current power sources, and wherein the at least one clip comprises two or more clips. 7. The portable grilling device of claim 6 , wherein: the two or more primary direct-current power sources comprise: a first type of primary direct-current power source; and a second type of primary direct-current power source, and the two or more clips comprise: a first type of clip configured to receive the first type of primary direct-current power source but not the second type of primary direct-current power source; and a second type of clip configured to receive the second type of primary direct-current power source but not the first type of primary direct-current power source. 8. A portable grilling device, comprising: a primary direct-current power source removably connected to the portable grilling device via a clip; an electrical socket into which a power cord can connect, wherein the power cord is configured to be plugged into an alternating-current power source; a rectifier configured to convert an alternating current to a direct current to power the portable grilling device; and a user feedback system configured to: calculate a remaining time left before the primary direct-current power source runs out of power; and relay the remaining time to at least one mobile device during use, wherein electrical connections between the primary direct-current power source and the clip reverse polarities to charge the primary direct-current power source when the power cord is connected to the electrical socket and powering the portable grilling device. 9. The portable grilling device of claim 8 , further comprising a secondary direct-current power source that supplies power to the portable grilling device when the primary direct-current power source is removed. 10. The portable grilling device of claim 8 , wherein the primary direct-current power source is compatible with at least one other device so that: the primary direct-current power source can be connected to the at least one other device to power the at least one other device. 11. The portable grilling device of claim 8 , wherein the user feedback system is configured to send notifications to the at least one mobile device. 12. The portable grilling device of claim 11 , wherein the notifications comprise: an amount of power remaining in the primary direct-current power source; or an amount of time remaining before the primary direct-current power source runs out of power. 13. A method of powering a portable grilling device, comprising: connecting a first primary direct-current power source to the portable grilling device via a clip; relaying a notification regarding the first primary direct-current power source to a mobile device, the notification comprising a calculation of remaining time left before the first primary direct-current power source runs out of power based on future power consumption; removing the first primary direct-current power source from the portable grilling device; powering the portable grilling device with a secondary direct-current power source while the first primary direct-current power source is removed; and connecting a second primary direct-current power source to the portable grilling device via the clip to at least partially charge the secondary direct-current power source. 14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the first primary direct-current power source is configured to at least partially charge the secondary direct-current power source when the first primary direct-current power source is connected to the portable grilling device via the clip. 15. The portable grilling device of claim 1 , wherein the user feedback system is configured to minimize power consumption of the portable grilling device responsive to a user signal to maximize remaining time left before the at least one primary direct-current power source runs out of power.
