What is claimed is: 1. A method for penetrating bone and accessing bone marrow, comprising: inserting a penetrator assembly with a powered drill to penetrate the bone into the bone marrow, the penetrator assembly comprising: a trocar including a stylet and a first connector forming a female connecting piece at a first end of the first connector, and a penetrator assembly connector at a second end of the first connector opposite to the first end of the first connector; and an outer penetrator including a hollow cannula and a second connector, the second connector forming a male connecting piece complementary to the female connecting piece on the first connector of the trocar, the hollow cannula configured to receive the stylet of the trocar, and the female connecting piece of the trocar configured to engage the male connecting piece of the outer penetrator; the powered drill comprising a housing defining a handle configured to be sized and contoured to fit the hand of an operator of the drill, the housing enclosing a motor and a power supply and associated circuitry to power the motor, the housing further including an on/off switch connected to the power supply and operable to activate the motor to rotate the penetrator assembly when said penetrator assembly is releasably attached to the powered drill; the powered drill further comprising a connector receptacle, the connector receptacle receiving the penetrator assembly connector of the penetrator assembly, and the connector receptacle releasably locking the penetrator assembly connector into place with the powered drill; wherein the outer penetrator further comprises a luer lock attachment on the second connector of the outer penetrator; wherein the power supply comprises a battery disposed within the housing and configured to supply power to the motor; the powered drill further including a battery indicator operable to indicate a level of the battery; the method further comprising, after inserting the penetrator assembly into the bone marrow, detaching the powered drill from the penetrator assembly, removing the trocar from the outer penetrator, and attaching an adapter to the luer lock attachment on the outer penetrator to convey medication or fluid to the bone marrow. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the adapter is a right angle connector which connects a tubing to the outer penetrator. 3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the battery is a rechargeable battery and the handle further comprises a charging contact and associated charging circuitry operable to charge the rechargeable battery. 4. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the rechargeable battery. 5. The method according to claim 4 , wherein the rechargeable battery comprises a lithium battery. 6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the battery. 7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the hollow cannula comprises a cutting tip, and the cutting tip of the hollow cannula and a tip of the stylet are operable to penetrate bone marrow as a single drilling unit. 8. The method according to claim 7 , further comprising a magnetic connection to releasably lock the penetrator assembly connector into place with the powered drill. 9. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the outer penetrator and the stylet are ground together as one unit during a manufacturing process. 10. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the battery is a rechargeable battery and the handle further comprises a charging contact and associated charging circuitry operable to charge the rechargeable battery. 11. The method according to claim 10 , wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the rechargeable battery. 12. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the battery. 13. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising a magnetic connection to releasably lock the penetrator assembly connector into place with the powered drill. 14. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the outer penetrator further comprises a flange operable to abut skin of a patient during an insertion procedure for stabilizing the penetrator assembly. 15. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the battery is a rechargeable battery and the handle further comprises a charging contact and associated charging circuitry operable to charge the rechargeable battery, wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the rechargeable battery, wherein the hollow cannula comprises a cutting tip, and the cutting tip of the hollow cannula and a tip of the stylet are operable to penetrate bone marrow as a single drilling unit, and wherein the outer penetrator further comprises a flange operable to abut skin of a patient during an insertion procedure for stabilizing the penetrator assembly. 16. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the battery is a rechargeable battery and the handle further comprises a charging contact and associated charging circuitry operable to charge the rechargeable battery, wherein the battery indicator further comprises a plurality of lights operable to indicate a status of the rechargeable battery, wherein the hollow cannula comprises a cutting tip, and the cutting tip of the hollow cannula and a tip of the stylet are operable to penetrate bone marrow as a single drilling unit, and further comprising a magnetic connection to releasably lock the penetrator assembly connector into place with the powered drill. 17. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the male connecting piece comprises a connecting piece locking mechanism configured to lock into position on the female connecting piece. 18.
