A digital television includes a memory storing one or more applications; an interface to receive control signals; a display; and a controller to display an application execution screen of an application among the one or more applications, in response to receiving, via the interface, a first control signal, display a first menu including one or more icons related to the first control signal, in response to receiving, via the interface, a second control signal selecting an adding menu icon in the first menu, and receiving a third control signal selecting an icon included in the one or more icons in the first menu, display the selected icon and a left direction key and a right direction key around the selected icon with a second menu, and in response to receiving, via the interface, a fourth control signal, add the selected icon to the second menu.

What is claimed is: 1. A digital television comprising: a memory storing one or more applications; an interface to receive control signals from a remote controller; a screen; and a controller to: execute an application related to a first icon within a first menu when the controller receives a signal selecting the first icon within the first menu from the remote controller, display a content of the executed application on the screen, enter into an edit mode of a second icon within the first menu in response to selecting at least one vertical direction key on the remote controller, and move the second icon from the first menu to a second menu which is grouped differently from the first menu while displaying the content of the executed application on the screen, wherein the first menu includes a list of applications previously executed in the digital television and the second menu includes a favorite application list, wherein the second menu is displayed on the screen together with the first menu, wherein the first menu is arranged in a single row and the second menu is arranged in a single row, and wherein the first menu is spaced along a vertical direction from the second menu. 2. The digital television of claim 1 , wherein the controller displays a left direction indicator and a right direction indicator around the second icon within the second menu while displaying the content of the executed application on the screen during the edit mode. 3. The digital television of claim 2 , wherein the controller relocates the second icon within the second menu and ends the edit mode of the second icon by using an OK key or a down direction key on the remote controller. 4. The digital television of claim 1 , wherein the at least one vertical direction key includes an up key on the remote controller. 5. The digital television of claim 4 , wherein the first icon is different from the second icon. 6. The digital television of claim 1 , wherein the controller displays a logo and launches a last input in response to selecting a power key on the remote controller. 7. The digital television of claim 6 , wherein the digital television is in a non-interactive state while displaying the logo and the digital television is in an interactive state while launching the last input. 8. The digital television of claim 7 , wherein the first menu or the second menu is selectable in the interactive state. 9. A method of controlling a digital television, the method comprising: executing an application related to a first icon within a first menu when receiving a signal selecting the first icon within the first menu from a remote controller; displaying a content of the executed application on a screen of the digital television; entering into an edit mode of a second icon within the first menu in response to selecting at least one vertical direction key on the remote controller; and moving the second icon from the first menu to a second menu which is grouped differently from the first menu while displaying the content of the executed application on the screen, wherein the first menu includes a list of application previously executed in the digital television and the second menu includes a favorite application list, wherein the second menu is displayed on the screen together with the first menu, wherein the first menu is arranged in a single row and the second menu is arranged in a single row, and wherein the first menu is spaced along a vertical direction from the second menu. 10. The method of claim 9 , further comprising: displaying a left direction indicator and a right direction indicator around the second icon within the second menu while displaying the content of the executed application on the screen during the edit mode. 11. The method of claim 10 , further comprising: relocating the second icon within the second menu; and ending the edit mode of the second icon by using an OK key or a down direction key on the remote controller. 12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the at least one vertical direction key includes an up key on the remote controller. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the first icon is different from the second icon. 14. The method of claim 9 , further comprising: displaying a logo and launching a last input in response to selecting a power key on the remote controller. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the digital television is in a non-interactive state while displaying the logo and the digital television is an interactive state while launching the last input. 16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the first menu or the second menu is selectable in the interactive state.
