We claim: 1. A solar cell, comprising: a substrate; an organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film having a (001) orientation grown on the substrate by cavitation-triggered asymmetric crystallization, wherein the organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film includes methylammonium lead bromide (MAPbBr 3 ); and a metal layer disposed on the organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film. 2. The solar cell of claim 1 , wherein the substrate includes one or more of indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass, fluoride coated tin oxide (FTO), silicon, and metal coated silicon. 3. The solar cell of claim 1 , wherein the metal layer is one or more of Au, Ag, and Cu. 4. The solar cell of claim 1 , wherein the organometallic halide perovskite single crystal film has a thickness of about 300 nm to 50 μm and wherein the metal layer has a thickness of about 50 nm to 200 nm. 5. A device, comprising: a substrate, wherein the substrate includes one or more of indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass, fluoride coated tin oxide (FTO), silicon, and metal coated silicon; an organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film having a (001) orientation grown on the substrate by cavitation-triggered asymmetric crystallization, wherein the organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline includes methylammonium lead bromide (MAPbBr 3 ); and a metal layer disposed on the organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film, wherein the metal layer includes one or more of Au, Ag, and Cu. 6. The solar cell of claim 1 , wherein an adhesion force between the substrate and organometallic halide perovskite monocrystalline film includes electrostatic interactions, Van der Waals forces, or a combination thereof.
