The invention claimed is: 1. A canister comprising a container formed to include a product-storage region therein, the container including a body and a filler neck coupled to the body to define the product-storage region therein, and the filler neck being formed to include an open mouth arranged to open into the product-storage region, and a closure configured to mate selectively with the filler neck to close the open mouth and block access to the product-storage region, the closure including a rigid lid configured to close the open mouth of the container and a skin layer coupled to the lid to provide a soft grip interface for a user grasping the closure, the lid including a top wall, a side wall coupled to the top wall and arranged to extend downwardly away from the top wall toward the container, and a brim coupled to the side wall and arranged to extend away from the side wall and the container, and the skin layer being arranged around at least a portion of the top wall and the side wall of the lid, wherein the brim of the lid is formed to include a vent aperture arranged to extend downwardly into the brim toward the container to allow gases and excess portions of the skin layer to move into the vent aperture during manufacture of the closure so that flashing of the skin layer is minimized. 2. The canister of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the skin layer extends into the vent aperture. 3. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the brim includes an upper surface and a lower surface that is spaced apart from the upper surface and the aperture extends through the upper surface and the lower surface. 4. The canister of claim 3 , wherein at least a portion of the skin layer extends into the aperture without extending beyond the lower surface. 5. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the aperture extends only partway through the brim. 6. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the aperture is continuous and extends 360 degrees around the side wall of the lid. 7. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the aperture extends about 20 degrees around the side wall of the lid. 8. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the top wall is formed to include a slide rail that extends upwardly away from the top wall. 9. The canister of claim 8 , wherein the slide rail extends through the skin layer. 10. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the skin layer comprises thermoplastic elastomer materials. 11. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the skin layer comprises thermoplastic olefin materials. 12. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the lid comprises polypropylene. 13. The canister of claim 1 , wherein the lid comprises polyethylene. 14. A method of providing a closure, the method comprising molding a lid to include a top wall, a side wall that extends downwardly from the top wall, and a brim that extends away from the side wall, forming a vent aperture that extends downwardly into the brim and opens upwardly toward the top wall, molding a skin layer onto at least a portion of the top wall and the side wall, and locating a portion of the skin layer in the vent aperture. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the step of molding the lid and the step of forming the vent aperture are performed at the same time. 16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the step of molding the skin layer and the step of locating the portion of the skin layer in the vent aperture are performed at the same time. 17. The method of claim 14 , wherein the vent aperture extends downwardly only partway into the brim. 18. The method of claim 14 , wherein the vent aperture extends through the brim. 19. The method of claim 18 , wherein the step of locating a portion of the skin layer into the vent aperture includes locating the portion of the skin layer in the vent aperture such that the skin layer does not extend beyond a bottom of the brim.
