A filter cartridge for a filter for filtering a fluid is to be used downstream of a main filter cartridge in a filter and is provided with an inflow surface, an outflow surface, and a main flow direction extending from the inflow surface to the outflow surface. A filter body is provided that can be flowed through along the main flow direction. A filter cartridge frame supports the filter body. A seal is disposed on the filter cartridge frame and separates a filter interior of a filter into a clean side and a raw side. An adhesive connection is provided that connects the filter body and the filter cartridge frame to each other. In one configuration, the filter cartridge frame at an inflow side is provided with a grip area, wherein the grip area enables inflow of a fluid into the filter body via the grip area and manual removal of the filter cartridge.

What is claimed is: 1. A filter cartridge for a filter for filtering a fluid, the filter cartridge configured to be used downstream of a main filter cartridge in a filter, the filter cartridge comprising: a filter body of filter medium having: an inflow surface on an inflow side of the filter body; an outflow surface on an outflow side of the filter body; a main flow direction extending from the inflow surface to the outflow surface; wherein an axial direction, as used herein, is a direction from the inflow surface to the outflow surface; wherein a radial direction, as used herein, is a direction traverse to the axial direction; and a filter cartridge frame, having a frame wall radially surrounding the filter body at radial outer sides of the filter body, the filter cartridge frame comprising: a grip depression provided in the filter cartridge frame positioned at one radial side of the filter body, the grip depression positioned axially between the inflow surface and the outflow surface, the grip depression being open on the inflow surface side and closed for fluid flow on the outflow surface side of the filter cartridge frame, wherein the frame wall surrounds the filter body and the grip depression; a circumferential radial seal provided on a radially outer side of the filter cartridge frame configured to separate a filter interior of a filter into a clean side and a raw side; the seal surrounding the cartridge frame and the grip depression, the seal being positioned axially between the inflow surface and the outflow surface. 2. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the circumferential radial seal is configured to act radially relative to the main flow direction; and wherein the seal extends circumferentially about the filter cartridge substantially perpendicular to the main flow direction. 3. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the filter cartridge frame comprises a support section circumferentially extending about the filter body; and wherein the support section comprises an inner side provided with an inner edge, wherein the inner edge is configured to receive an adhesive material. 4. The filter cartridge according to claim 3 , wherein the inner edge is a groove having a depth and the depth of the groove extends in a direction of the main flow direction. 5. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the filter cartridge frame comprises a seal receiving section circumferentially surrounding externally the filter body. 6. The filter cartridge according to claim 3 , wherein the adhesive material comprises a polyurethane. 7. The filter cartridge according to claim 3 , wherein the adhesive material partially penetrates the filter body. 8. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the circumferential radial seal comprises a cellular rubber. 9. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the filter cartridge frame comprises a grate arranged at an outflow side of the filter cartridge and covering the outflow surface. 10. The filter cartridge according to claim 9 , wherein the grate is formed as one part together with the filter cartridge frame. 11. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein, viewed in the main flow direction, the grip depression does not project past the main inflow surface. 12. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the filter body is substantially parallelepipedal. 13. The filter cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the filter body is a filter bellows and end faces of folds of the filter bellows have the folds aligned in a direction towards the grip depression.
