The present invention provides a composite that has good initial adhesion and good adhesion after high temperature and high humidity aging. Provided is a composite including: a topping rubber composition having a fatty acid content of 0.8% by mass or less; and an adherend plated with a copper-containing layer.

The invention claimed is: 1. A composite, comprising: a topping rubber composition having a fatty acid content of 0.8% by mass or less; and an adherend plated with a copper-containing layer, wherein the rubber composition comprises a natural rubber having a fatty acid content of 0.8% by mass or less and a pH of 2 to 7. 2. The composite according to claim 1 , wherein the rubber composition rubber component consists only of natural rubber. 3. The composite according to claim 1 , wherein not more than 0.8% by mass of fatty acids are attached to a surface of the adherend. 4. A pneumatic tire, comprising the composite according to claim 1 . 5. The composite according to claim 1 , wherein the rubber composition rubber component is saponified natural rubber latex that has been treated with an acidic compound. 6. The composite according to claim 2 , wherein the rubber composition rubber component is saponified natural rubber latex that has been treated with an acidic compound. 7. The composite according to claim 3 , wherein the rubber composition rubber component is saponified natural rubber latex that has been treated with an acidic compound. 8. A tire having a belt or carcass formed from the composite according to claim 1 . 9. The tire according to claim 8 , wherein the rubber composition rubber component is saponified natural rubber latex that has been treated with an acidic compound.
