The present invention provides compositions and pharmaceutical compositions of GPR84 agonists and GPR120 agonists for us in the treatment of obesity and overweight. The invention provides methods of treatment accordingly as well as a kit for use in the treatment of obesity and overweight.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of treating obesity and overweight, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a composition comprising lauric acid and 3-(4-((4-fluoro-4′-methyl-[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-yl)methoxy)phenyl)propanoic acid (TUG891), wherein the composition is a delayed release formulation for release in the distal small intestine and large intestine. 2. A method of treating obesity, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a composition comprising lauric acid and 3-(4-((4-fluoro-4′-methyl-[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-yl)methoxy)phenyl)propanoic acid (TUG891), wherein the composition is a delayed release formulation for release in the distal small intestine and large intestine. 3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises an amino acid.
