Described are methods of treating a disease associated with dysregulation of the Wnt/Frizzled signaling pathway. The methods include identifying subjects in need of therapy, administering inhibitors of the Wnt/Frizzled signaling pathway, pharmaceutical compositions including the inhibitors, and methods of using the compounds and compositions for treating cancer, bacterial and viral infection, lupus, type II diabetes, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in a subject.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound selected from the group consisting of: 4-chloro-2-((2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl)carbamoyl)phenyl octanoate; 4-chloro-2-((2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl)carbamoyl)phenyl oleate; 4-chloro-2-((2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl)carbamoyl)phenyl (9Z,12Z)-octadeca-9,12-dienoate; and 4-chloro-2-((2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl)carbamoyl)phenyl stearate, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an effective amount of a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
