Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A motor control circuit includes a control circuit configured to control a switching operation of an inverter circuit, the inverter circuit being configured to supply an alternating current power to a motor, and includes a determination-information generating circuit configured to generate at least one determination value that conveys information on whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates. The motor control circuit includes a determination circuit configured to determine whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates based on the determination value to output, as an interrupt signal, a signal indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates to the control circuit.

What is claimed is: 1. A motor control circuit comprising: a control circuit configured to control a switching operation of an inverter circuit, the inverter circuit being configured to supply an alternating current power to a motor; a determination-information generating circuit configured to generate at least one determination value that conveys information on whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates; a determination circuit configured to determine whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates based on the determination value to output, as an interrupt signal, a signal indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates to the control circuit; and a notification terminal electrically coupled to the determination circuit, the notification terminal being configured to give, to an external system, an indication of the motor malfunctioning or deteriorating, wherein the determination circuit is configured to set a first voltage applied to the notification terminal upon detecting, based on a comparison between the determination value and a preset threshold, the determination value being greater than or equal to the threshold, the first voltage having a different value from a second voltage applied to the notification terminal, and the second voltage being set upon detecting the determination value being smaller than the threshold. 2. The motor control circuit according to claim 1 , wherein the determination-information generating circuit is configured to generate the determination value based on information on a temperature, a voltage, or a current relating to the motor. 3. A motor controller comprising: the motor control circuit according to claim 1 ; an inverter circuit configured to be controlled by the motor control circuit, the inverter circuit including at least one switching element; and a drive-signal generating circuit configured to generate a drive signal that causes the switching element to operate, based on, a pulse width modulation signal from the motor control circuit. 4. A motor control circuit comprising: a control circuit configured to control a switching operation of an inverter circuit, the inverter circuit being configured to supply an alternating current power to a motor; a determination-information generating circuit configured to generate at least one determination value that conveys information on whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates; and a determination circuit configured to, determine whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates based on the determination value to output, as an interrupt sianal, a signal indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates to the control circuit, wherein the motor includes at least two temperature detecting units configured to detect temperatures at respective different points, wherein the determination-information generating circuit is configured to generate the at least one determination value being a plurality of determination values in response to receiving respective temperatures detected by the temperature detecting units, and wherein the determination circuit is configured to indicate, to an external system, information indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates upon detecting, based on the generated determination values, a first temperature difference. being greater than a first threshold, the first temperature difkrence being a difference between the respective temperatures detected by the temperature detecting units. 5. The motor control circuit according to claim 4 . wherein the at least two temperature detecting units arc a first temperature detecting unit and a second temperature detecting unit, the first temperature detecting unit being configured to detect a temperature of a circuit component in a printed circuit board provided with the motor, and the second temperature detecting unit being configured to detect a temperature of a bearing liner provided with the motor. 6. The motor control circuit according to claim 5 , further comprising a third temperature detecting unit configured to detect an external temperature of the motor, wherein the determination circuit is configured to indicate, to the external system, information indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates upon detecting a second temperature difference being greater than a second temperature threshold and detecting the first temperature difference, the second temperature difference being a difference between the temperature of the circuit component and the external temperature of the motor. 7. A motor control circuit comprising: a control circuit configured to control a switching operation of an inverter circuit, the inverter circuit being configured to supply an alternating current power to a motor; a determination-information generating circuit configured to generate at least one determination value that conveys information on whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates; a determination circuit configured to determine whether the motor malfunctions or deteriorates based on the determination value to output a signal indicating that the motor malfunctions or deteriorates to the control circuit; and a notification terminal electrically coupled to the determination circuit, the notification terminal being configured to give, to an external system, an indication of the motor malfunctioning or deteriorating, wherein the determination circuit is configured to set a first voltage applied to the notification terminal upon detecting, based on a comparison between the determination value and a preset threshold, the determination value being greater than or equal to the threshold, the first voltage having a different value from a second voltage applied to the notification terminal, and the second voltage being set upon detecting the determination value being smaller than the threshold. 8. The motor control circuit according to claim 7 , wherein the determination-information generating circuit is configured to generate the determination value based on information on a temperature, a voltage, or a current relating to the motor. 9. A motor controller comprising: the motor control circuit according to claim 7 ; an inverter circuit configured to be controlled by the motor control circuit, the inverter circuit including at least one switching element; and a drive-signal generating circuit configured to generate a drive signal that causes the switching element to operate, based on a pulse width modulation signal from the motor control circuit.
