A carton for containing at least one article. The carton includes a plurality of panels at least partially forming an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels includes a top panel. The carton includes an article protection flap foldably connected to at least one panel of the plurality of panels. The article protection flap is moveable between a first position that is substantially parallel to the top panel and a second position wherein the article protection flap is folded relative to the top panel. The at least one access feature in the top panel is for positioning the article protection flap from the first position to the second position.

What is claimed is: 1. A carton containing a plurality of articles, the carton comprising: a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton, the plurality of panels comprising a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel; an article protection insert comprising a plurality of features, the plurality of features comprising at least one opening and a plurality of notches, each of the at least one opening and the plurality of notches engaging a respective article of the plurality of articles, the article protection insert comprises a middle portion and two outer portions, the middle portion comprises at least one feature of the plurality of features, and the middle portion extends downwardly from the two outer portions; wherein each article of the plurality of articles comprises a container having a cap and a shoulder, the at least one feature in the middle portion contacts a portion of the articles below the shoulder; wherein the two outer portions each have at least one notch of the plurality of notches, the at least one notch in each of the two outer portions contact the caps of the respective containers of the plurality of articles to restrain movement of the containers in the carton. 2. The carton of claim 1 , comprising at least one access cut in the top panel, wherein the at least one access cut is for positioning the article protection insert to a position wherein the features engage at least one article of the plurality of articles. 3. The carton of claim 1 , wherein the at least one feature in the middle portion comprises the at least one opening. 4. The carton of claim 3 , wherein the at least one notch in each of the two outer portions is at least one first notch, and the at least one feature in the middle portion further comprises at least one second notch of the plurality of notches. 5. The carton of claim 1 , further comprising at least one article protection flap foldably connected to the bottom panel, the at least one article protection flap is moveable between a first position that is parallel to the bottom panel and a second position wherein the article protection flap is folded relative to the bottom panel. 6. The carton of claim 5 , wherein the at least one article protection flap is for contact with a bottom portion of at least one article of the plurality of articles when the at least one article protection flap is in the second position, and the article protection insert contacts a top portion of at least one article of the plurality of articles. 7. A method of forming a carton comprising: obtaining a carton blank comprising a plurality of panels comprising a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, and at least one access cut in the top panel; obtaining an article protection insert blank comprising a plurality of features, a middle portion, and two outer portions, the middle portion comprises at least one feature of the plurality of features, the plurality of features comprising at least one opening and a plurality of notches, and the two outer portions each having at least one notch of the plurality of notches; positioning the article protection insert blank relative to the carton blank; forming an interior of the carton at least partially defined by the plurality of panels, the forming the interior of the carton comprising forming an open-ended sleeve; loading a plurality of articles in the interior of the carton, each article of the plurality of articles comprising a container having a cap and a shoulder; and forming an article protection insert from the article protection insert blank and engaging each of the at least one opening and the plurality of notches with a respective article of the plurality of articles, the forming the article protection insert comprising contacting the at least one notch in each of the two outer portions with the caps of the respective containers of the plurality of articles to restrain movement of the containers in the carton and positioning the middle portion to extend downwardly from the two outer portions, the positioning the middle portion comprising contacting the at least one feature in the middle portion with a portion of the articles below the shoulder. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the at least one access cut in the top panel is for positioning the article protection insert to a position wherein the features engage at least one article of the plurality of articles. 9. The method of claim 7 , wherein the at least one feature in the middle portion comprises the at least one opening. 10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the at least one notch in each of the two outer portions is at least one first notch, and the at least one feature in the middle portion further comprises at least one second notch of the plurality of notches.
