Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The invention relates to a housing ( 10 ) for accommodating a plurality of battery cells ( 20 ), in particular lithium-ion battery cells, wherein the housing ( 10 ), in particular a plastic housing, comprises a cooling device with an inlet point ( 30 ) and an outlet point ( 40 ) for an air stream ( 22 ) for cooling the battery cells ( 20 ). In addition, the housing ( 10 ) is designed as a single piece together with the cooling device integrated in the housing ( 10 ), and the cooling device additionally has spacers ( 34; 34 a, 34 b ) for arranging all accommodated battery cells ( 20 ) with an intermediate space ( 23 ) for guiding air between the battery cells ( 20 ), by which means an air channel ( 25 ) is provided for the air stream ( 22 ) between the battery cells ( 20 ). The invention further relates to a battery pack ( 50 ) and to a motor vehicle comprising such a battery pack ( 50 ).

The invention claimed is: 1. A housing ( 10 ) for accommodation of a multiplicity of battery cells ( 20 ), wherein the housing ( 10 ) comprises a cooling device with an inlet point ( 30 ) and an outlet point ( 40 ) for an air stream ( 22 ) for cooling the battery cells ( 20 ), characterized in that the housing ( 10 ) is an integral component together with the cooling device integrated in the housing ( 10 ), wherein the cooling device additionally has spacers ( 34 ; 34 a , 34 b ) for arranging all the battery cells ( 20 ) to be accommodated with an intermediate space ( 23 ), through which air can be guided, between the battery cells ( 20 ), thereby making available to the air stream ( 22 ) an air channel ( 25 ) between the battery cells ( 20 ), wherein the housing has a side wall with an inner surface, wherein a portion of the air channel is defined between the inner surface and one of the battery cells, wherein the cooling device has a distributor space ( 26 ) for distributing the air stream ( 22 ), wherein the distributor space is arranged after the inlet point ( 30 ) in the flow direction of the air stream ( 22 ), wherein the distributor space ( 26 ) is defined by a distributor space surface and at least one corner (c 1 , c 2 ) with a rounded portion ( 35 ) for uniform distribution of the air stream ( 22 ), wherein the distributor space surface is planar until a point at which the distributor space surface terminates at the at least one corner, the at least one corner connecting the distributor space surface to the inner surface of the side wall, and wherein the rounded portion ( 35 ) of the at least one corner (c 1 , c 2 ) is flush with the inner surface of the side wall and guides the air stream ( 22 ) into the portion of the air channel ( 25 ). 2. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the distributor space ( 26 ) has at least one baffle plate ( 31 ) for guiding the air stream ( 22 ). 3. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 2 , characterized in that the baffle plate ( 31 ) is arranged in such a way that the air stream ( 22 ) guided onto the baffle plate ( 31 ) is deflected by the baffle plate ( 31 ) parallel to the lateral surfaces ( 24 ) of the battery cells ( 20 ) to be accommodated. 4. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the at least one corner (c 1 , c 2 ) with a rounded portion ( 35 ) is formed by a baffle plate ( 31 ) with a rounded portion ( 35 ) in an end region thereof. 5. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the cooling device has at least one air filter ( 32 , 42 ). 6. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the cooling device has a fan ( 33 ). 7. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the spacer ( 34 ; 34 a , 34 b ) is formed in the housing ( 10 ) having a bottom surface (B) by an intermediate-level spacer ( 34 a ), which is arranged in a plane at a distance (d) from the bottom surface (B). 8. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the spacer ( 34 ; 34 a , 34 b ) is formed in the housing ( 10 ) having a bottom surface (B) by a bottom spacer ( 34 b ), which is arranged on the bottom surface (B). 9. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the cooling device has a collecting space ( 27 ) for collecting the air stream ( 22 ), which is arranged ahead of the outlet point ( 40 ) in the flow direction of the air stream ( 22 ). 10. The housing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the battery cells ( 20 ) are lithium-ion battery cells, and wherein the housing ( 10 ) is a plastic housing. 11. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 2 , characterized in that the baffle plate ( 31 ) is arranged in such a way that the air stream ( 22 ) guided onto the baffle plate ( 31 ) is deflected by the baffle plate ( 31 ) between the lateral surfaces ( 24 ) of the battery cells ( 20 ) to be accommodated. 12. The housing ( 10 ) as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the cooling device has at least one air filter ( 32 , 42 ) designed as the inlet point ( 30 ) and/or as then outlet point ( 40 ). 13.
