The present invention relates to the novel use of the pyrazole carboxylic acid amide derivative Pydiflumetofen, compositions comprising this compound and its use in methods for the reduction of mycotoxin contamination in plants. Pydiflumetofen is also useful in increasing yield, in particular in cereals eg. wheat.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of reducing deoxynivalenol contamination in a plant consisting of applying to the plant as a foliar application an effective amount of a compound according to formula (I): having the IUPAC name 3-(Difluoromethyl)-N-methoxy-1-methyl-N-[1-(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)-2-propanyl]-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide; or a tautomer or isomer or enantiomer thereof, and a Group 1 triazole compound selected from the group consisting of cyproconazole, difenconazole, tebuconazole, metconazole, epoxiconazole, tetraconazole, and propiconazole. 2. The method according to claim 1 wherein the compound of Formula I and the Group 1 triazole are applied in a liquid composition. 3. A plant which has been treated by the method according to claim 1 . 4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the plant is wheat. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the plant has at least 80% less deoxynivalenol contamination than a plant which has not been treated. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound of formula (I) and the Group 1 triazole compound are applied during flowering. 7. A method for increasing plant yield by reducing deoxynivalenol contamination in a plant, comprising applying to the plant as a foliar application an effective amount of a compound according to formula (I): having the IUPAC name 3-(Difluoromethyl)-N-methoxy-1-methyl-N-[1-(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)-2-propanyl]-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide; or a tautomer or isomer or enantiomer thereof, and a Group 1 triazole compound selected from the group consisting of cyproconazole, difenconazole, tebuconazole, metconazole, epoxiconazole, tetraconazole, and propiconazole. 8. The method according to claim 7 wherein the compound of formula (I) and the Group 1 triazole compound are applied in a liquid composition.
