The invention claimed is: 1. A method of preparing a clean, disinfected autologous tissue implant for implantation, the method comprising: a) pre-treating autologous tissue surgically removed and collected from a patient; b) shipping the pre-treated autologous tissue to a tissue processing facility; c) receiving at the tissue processing facility the pre-treated autologous tissue that has been removed from the patient; d) processing the pre-treated autologous tissue to clean and disinfect the autologous tissue, wherein the processing comprises treating the autologous tissue with a detergent; e) storing the processed autologous tissue at an external storage facility; and f) providing the clean, disinfected autologous tissue to a surgical facility for re-implantation into the patient, wherein the autologous tissue is a facial bone, a bone of the extremities, a soft tissue, or a periprosthetic bone. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the facial bone is mandible bone, frontal bone, parietal bone, spheroid bone, temporal bone or nasal bone. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the bone of the extremities is a bone of the hand, a bone of the foot, a bone of the arm, or a bone of the leg. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the bone of the leg is a tibial bone or a femoral bone. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the soft tissue is at least one of a ligament, a tendon, a fascia, or a muscle. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the pre-treating comprises treating the collected autologous tissue with an antibiotic solution, a bactericidal solution, a virucidal, a glycerol-containing solution, water, saline or a combination thereof. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing comprises debridement. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing comprises treating the autologous tissue with a plasticizer. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing comprises exposing the autologous tissue to at least one bioactive factor. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the autologous tissue is sterilized using irradiation after processing. 11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising storing the processed autologous tissue in a storage solution. 12. The method claim 11 , wherein the autologous tissue is irradiated while in the storage solution.
