The invention claimed is: 1. A gear lubricant line device comprising: a base body configured to attach to an end surface of a gear, a lubricant applicator for applying lubricant to at least one tooth of the gear; and a mount configured to hold the lubricant applicator, wherein the mount is adjustably mounted on the base body so as to be alternatively translationally movable and releasably fixable to the base body to hold the lubricant applicator at a desired position relative to a tooth base of the gear. 2. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 1 , including a lubricant terminal rotatably mounted on the base body, the lubricant terminal being configured to connect to a lubricant line and carry a lubricant received from the lubricant line to the lubricant applicator. 3. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 2 , wherein the base body has an attachment element including at least one receiving cavity configured to receive an adhesive for securing the base body to the end surface of the gear. 4. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 3 , wherein the base body includes at least two through-holes extending to the at least one receiving cavity. 5. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 4 , wherein the walled region is at least partially formed of metal and/or plastic. 6. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 1 , wherein the base body includes at least one permanent magnet. 7. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 1 , including the lubricant applicator, the lubricant applicator having a least one channel formed as a coiled wire. 8. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 1 , wherein the mount includes a cylindrical receptacle, the applicator being partially received within the receptacle, and a channel having a first side edge and a second side edge, the receptacle having a tongue projecting from a side of the receptacle and slidably received in the channel. 9. The gear lubricant line device according to claim 1 , wherein the mount includes a slot and at least one fastener extending through the slot and into the base body such that the fastener can be alternately loosened to permit movement of the mount relative to the base body and tightened to retain the mount at a desired position relative to the base body. 10. An assembly comprising: a gear, and a gear lubricant line device including: a base body configured to attach to an end surface of a gear, a lubricant applicator for applying lubricant to at least one tooth of the gear; and wherein the mount is adjustably mounted on the base body so as to be alternatively translationally movable and releasably fixable to the base body to hold the lubricant applicator at a desired position relative to a tooth base of the gear.
