Provided herein are myeloid cell leukemia 1 protein (Mcl-1) inhibitors, methods of their preparation, related pharmaceutical compositions, and methods of using the same. For example, provided herein are compounds of Formula I, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds. The compounds and compositions provided herein may be used, for example, in the treatment of diseases or conditions, such as cancer.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of treating cancer, the method comprising: administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the cancer is a hematologic malignancy selected from multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, or acute myelogenous leukemia, wherein the compound has a structure selected from: 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is acute myelogenous leukemia. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is multiple myeloma. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is: 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the cancer is acute myelogenous leukemia. 7. The method of claim 5 , wherein the cancer is multiple myeloma. 8.
