Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A method of providing targeted content across user channels includes receiving a plurality of device activity events on a user device, storing the received plurality of device activity events, creating an audience population based on the stored device activity events, determining links for additional secondary user devices based on the user device, creating a cross-channel advertising campaign targeting the determined audience population, and running the cross-channel advertising campaign based on the device activity and the determined additional secondary user devices.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of providing targeted content across user channels, the method comprising: receiving and storing, by a synchronizing server, data regarding a plurality of device activity events occurring on a plurality of user devices; determining, by the synchronizing server, a plurality of users of the plurality of user devices based on the stored device activity events; determining, by the synchronizing server, through a network, for each of the plurality of users, at least one additional secondary user device corresponding to a respective user among the plurality of users, the at least one additional secondary user device being distinct from the plurality of user devices; creating, by the synchronizing server, a cross-channel advertising campaign targeting the plurality of users of the plurality of user devices, the cross-channel advertising campaign comprising targeted content based on the device activity and configured to accept a response other than a voice communication from a user via the user's respective determined additional secondary user device; and running, by the synchronizing server, the cross-channel advertising campaign by transmitting the targeted content of the cross-channel advertising campaign to at least one of the additional secondary user devices associated with a targeted user, such that the targeted content is displayed on one of the additional secondary user devices associated with the targeted user when a call received from an originator of the targeted content relates to a preexisting appointment, scheduled delivery, or product purchase associated with the originator. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the targeted content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the targeted content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface elements allowing the user to convey information to the originator of the targeted content. 4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the targeted content is sent in connection to a previous transaction between the user and the originator of the targeted content. 5. The method of claim 1 , the method further comprising: creating a device activity campaign; and running the device activity campaign on the user device. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the device activity campaign is run on a cross-channel event producer application on the user device. 7. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a method of providing targeted content across user channels, the method comprising: receiving and storing, by a synchronizing server, data regarding a plurality of device activity events occurring on a plurality of user devices; determining, by the synchronizing server, a plurality of users of the plurality of user devices based on the stored device activity events; determining, by the synchronizing server, through a network, for each of the plurality of users, at least one additional secondary user device corresponding to a respective user among the plurality of users, the at least one additional secondary user device being distinct from the plurality of user devices; creating, by the synchronizing server, a cross-channel advertising campaign targeting the plurality of users of the plurality of user devices, the cross-channel advertising campaign comprising targeted content based on the device activity and configured to accept a response other than a voice communication from a user via the user's respective determined additional secondary user device; and running, by the synchronizing server, the cross-channel advertising campaign by transmitting the targeted content of the cross-channel advertising campaign to at least one of the additional secondary user devices associated with a targeted user, such that the targeted content is displayed on one of the additional secondary user devices associated with the targeted user when a call received from an originator of the targeted content relates to a preexisting appointment, scheduled delivery, or product purchase associated with the originator. 8. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 7 , wherein targeted content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 9. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the targeted content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface elements allowing the user to convey information to the originator of the targeted content. 10. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the targeted content is sent in connection to a previous transaction between the user and the originator of the targeted content. 11. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 7 , the method further comprising: creating a device activity campaign; and running the device activity campaign on the user device. 12. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the device activity campaign is run on a cross-channel event producer application on the user device. 13. A computer system for providing targeted content across user channels, the system comprising: a memory having processor-readable instructions stored therein; and a processor configured to access the memory and execute the processor-readable instructions, which when executed by the processor configures the processor to perform a plurality of functions, including functions to: receive and store, data regarding a plurality of device activity events occurring on a plurality of user devices; determine a plurality of users of the plurality of user devices based on the stored device activity events; determine, through a network, for each of the plurality of users, at least one additional secondary user device corresponding to a respective user among the plurality of users, the at least one additional secondary user device being distinct from the plurality of user devices; create a cross-channel advertising campaign targeting the plurality of users of the plurality of user devices, the cross-channel advertising campaign comprising targeted content based on the device activity and configured to accept a response other than a voice communication from a user via the user's respective determined additional secondary user device; and run the cross-channel advertising campaign by transmitting the targeted content of the cross-channel advertising campaign to at least one of the additional secondary user devices associated with a targeted user, such that the targeted content is displayed on one of the additional secondary user devices associated with the targeted user when a call received from an originator of the targeted content relates to a preexisting appointment, scheduled delivery, or product purchase associated with the originator. 14. The computer system of claim 13 , wherein the targeted content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 15. The computer system of claim 14 , wherein the targeted content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface elements allowing the user to convey information to the originator of the targeted content. 16. The computer system of claim 14 , wherein the targeted content is sent in connection to a previous transaction between the user and the originator of the targeted content. 17. The computer system of claim 13 , wherein the plurality of functions performed by the processor when executing the processor-readable instructions further includes functions to: creati
