Provided is a washing machine including a main body having an opening and a door assembly disposed at the opening, wherein the door assembly includes a door that opens and closes the opening and an auxiliary washing unit having an auxiliary washing space in which hand-washing can be performed, and provided to pivot about one side of the door in an inside of the door. Through this configuration, separated washing spaces can be provided and separate hand-washing can be performed. Also, pressure of washing water supplied into the washing machine can be regulated so that water supply efficiency can be improved and a flow rate of the washing water can be adjusted.

What is claimed is: 1. A washing machine comprising: a main body including a washing space and an opening through which laundry is introduced into the washing space; a detergent supply container configured to supply, to the washing space, detergent mixed with water supplied to the detergent supply container; a washing water supply device including: an inlet port through which to receive water supplied to the washing water supply device, a water pressure regulation chamber to receive the water received through the inlet port, a discharge chamber, a water pressure regulation hole, disposed between the water pressure regulation chamber and the discharge chamber, through which the water received by the water pressure regulation chamber passes to be received by the discharge chamber, and an outlet port through which the water received by the discharge chamber is discharged to the washing space, wherein the washing water supply device is configured so that the water received through the inlet port is discharged through the outlet port to the washing space without having been supplied to the detergent supply container; and a water supply valve that is controllable in accordance with an input from a user of the washing machine via an input button to cause the water supplied to the washing water supply device to be supplied independent of the water supplied to the detergent supply container. 2. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the washing water supply device further includes a housing, and the inlet port, the water pressure regulation chamber, the discharge chamber and the outlet port are disposed in the housing. 3. The washing machine according to claim 2 , wherein the inlet port is connected to the water supply valve. 4. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the water supply valve is disposed outside the water pressure regulation chamber. 5. The washing machine according to claim 2 , wherein the housing comprises: an adjustment rib disposed between the water pressure regulation chamber and the discharge chamber to block a part of water moving from the water pressure regulation chamber to the discharge chamber. 6. The washing machine according to claim 2 , wherein the detergent supply container and the housing of the washing water supply device are disposed at a rear side of the opening, and the detergent supply container and the outlet port of the washing water supply device are disposed adjacent to each other in a left-right direction. 7. The washing machine according to claim 6 , wherein the outlet port of the washing water supply device is disposed above the opening of the main body. 8. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the water pressure regulation chamber has a cross-section of sufficient size so that, while the water supplied to the washing water supply device is constant, a flow velocity and water pressure of the water in the water pressure regulation chamber is less than a flow velocity and water pressure of the water in the inlet port, and the discharge chamber has a larger volume than the water pressure regulation chamber. 9. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the washing water supply device further includes an upper housing and a lower housing coupled to the upper housing to form an internal space communicating with the water pressure regulation chamber. 10. The washing machine according to claim 9 , wherein the outlet port is disposed in the lower housing. 11. The washing machine according to claim 1 , the water pressure regulation chamber receives the water in a first direction from the inlet port and the water received in the water pressure regulation chamber passes in a second direction to the discharge chamber. 12. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the washing water supply device is configured so that the water received through the inlet port is discharged through the outlet port to the washing space irrespective of a water pressure of the water in the water pressure regulation chamber. 13. The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the washing water supply device is configured so that the discharge chamber receives the water received in the water pressure regulation chamber through the water pressure regulation hole irrespective of a water pressure of the water in the water pressure regulation chamber.
