What is claimed is: 1. An electronic device, comprising: a housing; an opening formed in a portion of the housing; an audio component within the housing in communication with the opening; and a membrane structure comprising a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer and a membrane layer, the membrane layer comprising a first portion facing the audio component and a second portion facing in a direction opposite to that of the first portion, wherein the first portion is coated with a plurality of hydrophobic particles and the second portion is coated with a plurality of hydrophilic particles. 2. An electronic device, comprising: a housing; an opening in a portion of the housing; a first plurality of particles disposed within the housing; a second plurality of particles disposed within the housing, with the second plurality of particles being different from the first plurality of particles; an audio component within the housing in communication with the opening; and a membrane structure comprising a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer and a membrane layer, the membrane layer comprising a central area coated with the first plurality of particles, a peripheral area surrounding at least a part of the central area, a first portion facing the audio component and a second portion facing in a direction opposite to that of the first portion, wherein at least a portion of the peripheral area disposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer is coated with the second plurality of particles, and wherein the first portion is coated with a plurality of hydrophobic particles and the second portion is coated with a plurality of hydrophilic particles. 3. The electronic device of claim 2 , wherein the second plurality of particles that coat the peripheral area have a diameter greater than that of the first plurality of particles that coat the central area.
