A chelated zinc adjuvant composition includes water, an effective amount of a micronutrient consisting of zinc chelated with an organic acid and an organic amine, a mono-, di- or polysaccharide and an alkyl polysaccharide. The adjuvant has a pH of up to 6.5. When admixed with a pesticide capable of precipitating with the zinc, due to the zinc being chelated, the zinc is prevented from precipitating with the pesticide and is available for uptake. When the adjuvant composition is applied in seed, soil, foliage or fruit applications, zinc uptake is improved.

What is claimed is: 1. An adjuvant composition, comprising: water; an organic acid selected from the group consisting of citric acid, gluconic acid, lactic acid, malonic acid, tartaric acid, glutamic acid, fumaric acid, oleic acid, acetic acid, glutaric acid, malic acid, ascorbic acid, and combinations thereof; an organic amine; a mono-, di- or polysaccharide; an alkyl polysaccharide; and an effective amount of a micronutrient consisting of zinc, wherein the zinc is present at about 1 to about 10 wt % of the composition and the zinc is chelated with the organic acid and the organic amine, wherein the adjuvant is a solution and a pH of the adjuvant is up to 6.5, and wherein the adjuvant composition is free of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). 2. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the pH of the adjuvant is from about 2.0. 3. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the mono-, di- or polysaccharide comprises fructose. 4. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the alkyl polysaccharide comprises an alkyl polyglycoside non-ionic surfactant. 5. An admixture comprising the adjuvant composition of claim 1 and a pesticide. 6. The admixture of claim 5 , wherein the admixture is free of other micronutrients. 7. The admixture of claim 5 , wherein the pesticide comprises at least one phosphate salt capable of precipitating with the zinc. 8. The admixture of claim 5 , wherein the pesticide comprises glyphosate. 9. An adjuvant composition, comprising: water; an organic acid selected from the group consisting of citric acid, gluconic acid, lactic acid, malonic acid, tartaric acid, glutamic acid, fumaric acid, oleic acid, acetic acid, glutaric acid, malic acid, ascorbic acid, and combinations thereof; an organic amine; a mono-, di- or polysaccharide comprising fructose; an alkyl polysaccharide; and an effective amount of a micronutrient consisting of zinc, wherein the adjuvant is a solution and a pH of the adjuvant is up to 6.5, wherein the zinc is chelated with the organic acid and the organic amine, and wherein the adjuvant composition is free of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), and wherein the adjuvant composition is adapted to increase uptake of zinc in seed, soil, foliage, or fruit. 10. The composition of claim 9 , wherein the pH of the adjuvant is from about 2.0. 11. The composition of claim 9 , wherein the zinc is present at about 1 to about 10 wt % of the composition. 12. The composition of claim 9 , wherein the alkyl polysaccharide comprises an alkyl polyglycoside non-ionic surfactant. 13. The composition of claim 9 , wherein the organic amine is present at about 1 to about 12.5 wt % of the composition. 14. An admixture comprising the adjuvant composition of claim 9 and a pesticide. 15. The admixture of claim 14 , wherein the admixture is free of other micronutrients. 16. The admixture of claim 14 , wherein the pesticide comprises at least one phosphate salt capable of precipitating with the zinc. 17. The admixture of claim 14 , wherein the pesticide comprises glyphosate.
