First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A punch mounting assembly comprising: an elongated mounting body including a punch mounting assembly second coupling component, a punch first coupling component, and a radial contour; said mounting body having a complementary length; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component structured to be coupled to a punch mounting assembly first coupling component of an elongated ram body; said radial contour of said mounting body structured to support a punch; said punch first coupling component structured to be coupled to said punch; said ram body includes a first end and a second end, said second end of said ram body including a landing bore and a threaded bore; said mounting body includes a first end, a medial portion, and a second end; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component disposed at said first end of said mounting body; and said punch mounting assembly second coupling component including a reduced radius portion and external threads structured to be coupled to said threaded bore of said second end of said ram body. 2. The punch mounting assembly of claim 1 wherein: said reduced radius portion of said punch mounting assembly second coupling component is a landing; said punch first coupling component is disposed at said second end of said mounting body; said punch first coupling component includes an axial threaded bore and a punch retainer bolt; and said punch retainer bolt structured to be coupled to said axial threaded bore of said punch first coupling component. 3. A punch mounting assembly comprising: an elongated mounting body including a punch mounting assembly second coupling component, a punch first coupling component, and a radial contour; said mounting body having a complementary length; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component structured to be coupled to a punch mounting assembly first coupling component of an elongated ram body; said radial contour of said mounting body structured to support a punch; said punch first coupling component structured to be coupled to said punch; said ram body includes a first end and a second end, said second end of said ram body including a threaded bore-end; said mounting body includes a first end, a medial portion, and a second end; said mounting body includes a longitudinal coupling bore; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component including a reduced radius portion and a punch retainer bolt; and said punch retainer bolt structured to correspond to said longitudinal coupling bore of said mounting body. 4. A ram assembly comprising: an elongated ram body; said ram body having a reduced length; a punch mounting assembly including an elongated mounting body; said mounting body of said punch mounting assembly having a complementary length; and said punch mounting assembly coupled to said ram body wherein the assembled punch mounting assembly and ram body have an operational length; said ram body includes a punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said punch mounting assembly includes a punch mounting assembly second coupling component, a punch first coupling component, and a radial contour; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component structured to be coupled to said punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said radial contour of said punch mounting assembly structured to support a punch assembly; said punch first coupling component structured to be coupled to a punch second coupling component; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component coupled to said punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said ram body includes a first end and a second end, said second end of said ram body including a threaded bore; said mounting body of said punch mounting assembly includes a first end, a medial portion, and a second end; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component disposed at said first end of said mounting; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component including a reduced radius portion and external threads structured to be coupled to said threaded bore of said second end of said ram body; said radius portion of said punch mounting assembly second coupling component is a landing; said punch first coupling component is disposed at said second end of said punch mounting assembly mounting body; said punch first coupling component includes an axial threaded bore and a punch retainer bolt; and said punch retainer bolt structured to be coupled to said axial threaded bore of said punch first coupling component. 5. A ram assembly comprising: an elongated ram body; said ram body having a reduced length; a punch mounting assembly including an elongated mounting body; said mounting body of said punch mounting assembly having a complementary length; said punch mounting assembly coupled to said ram body wherein the assembled punch mounting assembly and ram body have an operational length; said ram body includes a punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said punch mounting assembly includes a punch mounting assembly second coupling component, a punch first coupling component, and a radial contour; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component structured to be coupled to said punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said radial contour of said punch mounting assembly structured to support a punch assembly; said punch first coupling component structured to be coupled to a punch second coupling component; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component coupled to said punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said ram body includes a first end and a second end, said second end of said ram body including a threaded bore; said mounting body of said punch mounting assembly includes a first end, a medial portion, and a second end; said punch mounting assembly mounting body includes a longitudinal coupling bore; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component including a reduced radius portion and a punch retainer bolt; said punch retainer bolt structured to correspond to said coupling bore of said mounting body; and wherein said reduced radius portion of said punch mounting assembly second coupling component is a landing. 6. A bodymaker comprising: a frame assembly; a number of forward assemblies; said forward assemblies coupled to said frame assembly; a drive assembly; said drive assembly coupled to said frame assembly; a ram assembly including a ram body; said drive assembly operatively coupled to said ram assembly, wherein said ram assembly moves longitudinally between a retracted, first position wherein said ram body does not extend into said forward assemblies, and, an extended, second position wherein said ram body extends into said forward assemblies; said ram body having a reduced length; a punch mounting assembly including an elongated mounting body; said mounting body of said punch mounting assembly having a complementary length; said punch mounting assembly coupled to said ram body wherein the assembled punch mounting assembly and ram body have an operational length; said ram body includes a punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said punch mounting assembly includes a punch mounting assembly second coupling component, a punch first coupling component, and a radial contour; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component structured to be coupled to said punch mounting assembly first coupling component; said radial contour of said punch mounting assembly structured to support a punch assembly; said punch first coupling component structured to be coupled to a punch second coupling component; said punch mounting assembly second coupling component coupled to
