Various embodiments enable an application on a first device to log into an online meeting in association with a trusted entity, such as a trusted user. Once trust is established between the trusted entity and the meeting domain, such as an enterprise domain, permissions can be assigned to a meeting device, by virtue of the trust relationship with the trusted entity, to enable the meeting device to join the meeting as a participant, thus allowing the meeting device to bypass an initial join process such as a meeting lobby and the like. By virtue of the assigned permissions, the meeting device may take control of the meeting and control the experience for others in the meeting as a meeting organizer or some other permission-centric role.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: using a hardware processor of a first computing device: establishing a locational proximity to a second computing device, the second computing device previously authenticated to an online meeting via a meeting service over a network; joining the online meeting provided by a meeting service based upon the locational proximity, the first computing device not authorized to be admitted to the online meeting prior to having first established the locational proximity with the second computing device, the meeting service hosted by a server computing device, the meeting service conducting the online meeting by processing audio communications between a plurality of devices including the second computing device and the first computing device; responsive to joining the online meeting, receiving audio communications of the online meeting; receiving a command from the second computing device, the command associated with the online meeting; and executing the command received from the second computing device to control an aspect of the online meeting. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: displaying a secret on a display device of the first computing device; and receiving, from the meeting service, an indication that the secret was entered into the second computing device. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the secret is a PIN. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: receiving an indication from a wireless transceiver that the second computing device was placed into a physical proximity with the first computing device. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the physical proximity comprises physical contact between the first and second computing devices. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: receiving a token from the second computing device; and wherein joining the online meeting comprises presenting the token to the meeting service. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein joining the online meeting provided by the meeting service comprises bypassing a pre-meeting admissions staging area. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein joining the online meeting comprises joining at a same role as the second computing device, the same role comprising a presenter role, the presenter role not given to at least one participant of the online meeting. 9. A first computing device comprising: a hardware processor; a memory comprising instructions, which when performed by the hardware processor, cause the hardware processor to perform operations comprising: establishing a locational proximity to a second computing device, the second computing device previously authenticated to an online meeting via a meeting service over a network; joining the online meeting provided by a meeting service based upon the locational proximity, the first computing device not authorized to be admitted to the online meeting prior to having first established the locational proximity with the second computing device, the meeting service hosted by a server computing device, the meeting service conducting the online meeting by processing audio communications between a plurality of devices including the second computing device and the first computing device; responsive to joining the online meeting, receiving audio communications of the online meeting; receiving a command from the second computing device, the command associated with the online meeting; and executing the command received from the second computing device to control an aspect of the online meeting. 10. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein the operations of establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: displaying a secret on a display device of the first computing device; and receiving, from the meeting service, an indication that the secret was entered into the second computing device. 11. The first computing device of claim 10 , wherein the secret is a PIN. 12. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein the first computing device further comprises a wireless transceiver and wherein the operations of establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: receiving an indication from a wireless transceiver that the second computing device was placed into a physical proximity with the first computing device. 13. The first computing device of claim 12 , wherein the physical proximity comprises physical contact between the first and second computing devices. 14. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein the operations of establishing a locational proximity to the second computing device comprises: receiving a token from the second computing device; and wherein the operations of joining the online meeting comprises presenting the token to the meeting service. 15. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein joining the online meeting provided by the meeting service comprises bypassing a pre-meeting admissions staging area. 16. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein joining the online meeting comprises joining at a same role as the second computing device, the same role comprising a presenter role, the presenter role not given to at least one participant of the online meeting. 17. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein the command comprises one of: muting, unmuting, changing volume, or disconnecting. 18. The first computing device of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise: receiving an item of content wirelessly from the second computing device; and wherein the command comprises a command causing the item of content to be shared in the online meeting. 19. A first computing device comprising: means for establishing a locational proximity to a second computing device, the second computing device previously authenticated to an online meeting via a meeting service over a network; means for joining the online meeting provided by a meeting service based upon the locational proximity, the first computing device not authorized to be admitted to the online meeting prior to having first established the locational proximity with the second computing device, the meeting service hosted by a server computing device, the meeting service conducting the online meeting by processing audio communications between a plurality of devices including the second computing device and the first computing device; means for receiving audio communications of the online meeting responsive to joining the online meeting; means for receiving a command from the second computing device, the command associated with the online meeting; and means for executing the command received from the second computing device to control an aspect of the online meeting. 20. The first computing device of claim 19 , wherein joining the online meeting comprises joining at a same role as the second computing device, the same role comprising a presenter role, the presenter role not given to at least one participant of the online meeting.
