The present disclosure relates to detergent compositions comprising subtilase variants exhibiting improved stability and/or improved wash performance in liquid detergent and methods for obtaining such detergent compositions. The variants are suitable for use in e.g. cleaning or detergent compositions, such as laundry detergent compositions and dish wash compositions, including automatic dish wash compositions.

The invention claimed is: 1. A detergent composition comprising a subtilase variant, the subtilase variant having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3, wherein the subtilase variant has a glutamic acid residue (E) in position 101, wherein the subtilase variant further comprises a substitution selected from the group of: S3T; R45E,D,Q; P55N; T58W,Y,L; Q59D,M,N,T; G61D,R; S87E; G97S; A98D,E,R; S106A,W; N117E; H120V,D,K,N; S124M; P129D; E136Q; Q137H; S143W; S156D; S161T; Y171L; A172S; N185Q; V199M; Y209W; M222Q; N238H; V244T; N261T,D; L262E,N,Q,D; N238E+L262E; S3T+V4I+A228V; G195E+V199M; N76D+A228V+N261D; S3T+N76D+S156D+Y209W; Q137H+S141H+R145H+N238E+L262E; Q137H+S141H+R145H+S156D+L262E; N76D+Q137H+S141H+R145H+A228V+N261D; and S3T+N76D+Q137H+S141H+R145H+S156D+Y209W, wherein the subtilase variant has increased stability in a liquid detergent composition compared to the subtilase having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3, wherein the positions are in a numerical order corresponding to the numerical order of the positions of SEQ ID NO: 1, wherein the detergent composition further comprises one or more additional enzymes and/or one or more additional components, wherein the one or more additional enzymes is selected from the group of: proteases, amylases, lipases, cutinases, cellulases, endoglucanases, xyloglucanases, pectinases, pectin lysases, xanthanases, peroxidases, haloperoxygenases, catalases, mannanases, and mixtures thereof, and wherein the one or more additional components is selected from the group of: surfactants, builders, chelators or chelating agents, bleach system or bleach components, polymers, fabric conditioners, foam boosters, suds suppressors, dyes, perfume, tarnish inhibitors, optical brighteners, bactericides, fungicides, soil suspending agents, anti-corrosion agents, enzyme inhibitors or stabilizers, enzyme activators, transferase(s), hydrolytic enzymes, oxido reductases, bluing agents and fluorescent dyes, antioxidants, and solubilizers. 2. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant further has improved wash performance compared to the subtilase having SEQ ID NO: 3. 3. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition is in form of a bar, a homogenous tablet, a tablet having two or more layers, a pouch having one or more compartments, a regular or compact powder, a granule, a paste, a gel, or a regular, compact or concentrated liquid. 4. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition is a laundry detergent composition or a dishwashing composition. 5. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution N238E+L262E. 6. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution S3T+V4I+A228V. 7. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution G195E+V199M. 8. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution N76D+A228V+N261D. 9. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution S3T+N76D+S156D+Y209W. 10. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution Q137H+S141H+R145H+N238E+L262E. 11. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution Q137H+S141H+R145H+S156D+L262E. 12. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution N76D+Q137H+S141H+R145H+A228V+N261D. 13. The detergent composition of claim 1 , wherein the subtilase variant comprises the substitution selected from the group of: R45E,D,Q; Q59D; T58L; G61D; S87E; G97S; A98E; S106A; N117E; H120D,K,V; P129D; E136Q; Q137H; S156D; S161T; V199M; M222Q; N261T; and L262E,Q,N. 14. A detergent composition comprising a subtilase variant, the subtilase variant having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3, wherein the subtilase variant has a glutamic acid residue (E) in position 101, wherein the subtilase variant further comprises the substitution S3T+N76D+Q137H+S141H+R145H+S156D+Y209W, wherein the subtilase variant has increased stability in a liquid detergent composition compared to the subtilase having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3, and wherein the positions are in a numerical order corresponding to the numerical order of the positions of SEQ ID NO: 1. 15. A detergent composition comprising a subtilase variant, the subtilase variant having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3, wherein the subtilase variant has a glutamic acid residue (E) in position 101, wherein the subtilase variant further comprises the substitution S156D+L262E, wherein the subtilase variant has increased stability in a liquid detergent composition compared to the subtilase having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3, and wherein the positions are in a numerical order corresponding to the numerical order of the positions of SEQ ID NO: 1.
